Yum, brownies over here please
I've never tried the hob nobs as I KNOW I would eat the whole flipping lot, in fact I'd probably make 2 batches and pretend I'd only done one.....I know what I'm like (greedy piggie!)
DD came back from my parents today and we had a feast, roasties, roast beetroot, broccoli and cauliflower, carrots and la piece de la resistance - DD's yorkshire pudding
Yup, at nearly 4 she's got her degree in Yorkies and cake cookery and is great at hoovering and general tidying, bless her little curly head. I'm so pleased to have her home and am sure that she'll come creeping into my bed in the middle of the night for cuddles (well, here's hoping, lol).
I've also got loads of seeds for growing veggies but general laziness will probably mean that I'll be buying frozen until the day I pop by clogs *sigh*0 -
Ok Brownies
Janey's super works every time recipe
Brownies
8oz granulated sugar
1 1/2 oz cocoa powder
3 oz SR flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
4oz butter - melted
Mix dry ingredients.
Beat eggs and milk together.
Add to dry mix with the melted butter
Cook at 180oc
This fits into the tin that Nigella bangs on about in her cook books, the lakeland traybake one thats 8" or so wide.
KK get DD to do the seeds then you will have it sussed.
OR send me the seeds and I will post you veggies - probably not a good idea - think of the airmiles they will need to travel to get to you!
My DS like your DD is brilliant at yorkie puds - he now claims the recipe as his own - he's planning on writing a recipe book of 'stolen' recipes - more of a helper than a hoodie but you never know whats round the corner do you?
Wasn't so long ago he wouldnt be parted from his tractors and wee cars. Bless

Well done!
I am having a final cuppa and a browse before bedfordshire - I am sure life will settle down a bit more now - if its been a glum ride thus far I apologise - guess things like debts praying heavy on my mind.
Herbal tea in hand, lodgers table done, kids asleep and peedie puppy snuck up on the sofa.
Bundle of parcels for tomorrow sorted out so will need to go to PO
Need to get my head into work over mon/tues have a deadline for Wed.
Also need to book ferry for our trip south - can't do this through quidco and it makes me a bit mad as its lots of money. grrrr
Pal emailed about the possiblity of borrowing darwin for a week in May (offering cash for darwins) not sure how that might work but he does need a bit of inside tlc and some body work soon (don't we all?!) - need to think about the logistics of things, I can put her on the insurance no bother, just not sure how the rest of it might work (if anyone does know then please let me know)
Have thought about this quite seriously before - some folks do it up in Shetland stock the van up with local produce etc - whilst I don't mind lending him not sure of the hassles it might cause. Need a real think, its very tempting though.
Debtwise tomorrow I need work on my introduction to keep my phd job going
Phone/email cap one about ppi and get that cancelled
Phone the scary barclaycard folk and find out the state of play with them
DD has junior strings after school (free) and her best chum 'the terrified vegetarian' for tea then they both zoot off to guides.
DS has left his bike at the bus station all weekend - only just 'remembered' I am sure it will be OK, but I still worry - its a nice bike.
I need to beg some grain from work for chooks and take in the broken axe and ask very very nicely if someone can fix it for me.
Hey hoping you are all well, beating myself up a bit for not getting much 'work' done, its never great at the weekend - I try and do some but do get very unmotivated. I resent stuff interfering with family time, but without the stuff - hmm no pennies!
HP sauce - you have renamed me 'the stripey one'??
I love it!!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

We will have to make those brownies tonight they sound divine (is it any wonder I never lose weight......)
As predicted, DD came in for cuddles and to push her mother out of the king sized bed cos of course she has to share my "cushion" and dig her little bony limbs into me, wouldn't have it any other way
Money-wise, I'm going to leave my cards at home, write up my spends over the weekend and must get off my lazy a$$ to make some lunch to take with me, have no energy yet this morning
Have a great money-busting day everyone with loads of cakes0 -
KK As I sit at my desk slurpinig coffee with one sugar in it contemplating when I can have my 'first' second breakfast - I wonder why it is I can't lose any weight either. Enjoy the brownies if you get a chance they are gooey and lovely so I am told.

whoops - not live ones -- sorry HP.
Just phoned scary cc folks balance is £3130.79 interest frozen
(Can offer me a settlement of about 1000 less than that if I pay off in 2 weeks)
Tempting but hmm not really a realistic proposition - what's the situation when a CC has gone to someone like First Credit? (that's who I am dealing with)
If CC is interest free - then am I better sticking more money into higher interest debts? Or should I clear it pronto cos its with a credit agency?
You see I am not very good at this.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
