    Morning all,
Hello HockeyDuo8083, stay away from the freezer.

TodAY I will be wearing (aswell as ALL my normally attire) A black stripey top , I had to iron it ................
]The freezer is about bursting at the moment but always room for a little one............:)

Stripes and ironing - well done I think - not a phrase I normally hear together

I am blue stripey today with rainbow stripey socks.

  • Lol yes the 'meaty delights' in that freezer should be avoided. Having been born and raised in the country has taught me to always expect the unexpected when looking into a persons cold store...

I was engaged to a country boy once, when we accidentally ran down a little deer (a muntjack????) He got out to put it out of its misery, and his mum later told him off cos he didn't put it in the back of the van to hang it and eat it..... as a clueless city girl, I was a little taken aback.....

If I run anything decent over with the darwin beast when I am away I hope its on the way home - cos bless him he only has a little fridge and a tiny freezer

KK that made me laugh - I was brought up a veggie townie nomad- only since marrying a farmer have I turned to the dark side:rotfl:

  • Tell me of this mainland place by the way is it really true that petrol is under £1 a litre?

Some shops don't close at 5pm?

And there are something called 'fast food' places to eat (well I wont call it real food)

    And trees........?

All too much for my little stripey socks to cope with - been 4 months since my last excursion to the mainland as seen as how that was at Chrissy and we did no shopping - it doesnt count.

I thought you couldn't have the stuff YOU run over, only what somebody else has hit? (So you should always travel in pairs?) I think it was to stop people deliberately using their vehicles as a weapon...... :D

I didn't know that! I would've fainted if he'd tried to bring it into the van. Somebody brought a rabbit home one time and skinned it, and I retreated to the bedroom till it was all done..... v squeamish about animals, here _pale_ tho not my own blood - when the nurse took blood for tests recently, she commented on how I didn't look away, must have thought I was going to fall to the floor or something - my own blood doesn't take me that way..... aren't people odd! :rotfl:
