i'm a bit worried at the moment, found out today that 2 friends have been made redundant today at different companies, i'm worried about who will be the 3rd. I have to admit i do believe in things happening in threes.

Great about the seeds - I know you are impatient but if you planted them on Sunday then Today's tuesday - they do need a 'peedie blink' to wake upand......................

Mooorrrnning! I'm back! Positive vibes to all, especially on unemployment worries. I'd like to be in the back today finishing off the raised bed, but I have to be in the house or at the front awaiting Virgin cable, who are being complete nutters. In fact, I may have to log off here and go chase them again on the phone. But I had a lovely trip back, lots of genealogy, cheering my mum up (I know, a split infinitive, but if Captain Kirk can do it, so can I :) ).

No chev - I have emailed all my pals told them to get their backsides up to Orkney for a visit as I have a new visitor book and a spare room. (and we are incredibly poor - all donations extremely welcome)

Lady at the college seemed to think that there would be no problem filling the room after the summer at start of term - so will tighten belts and wait til then - exploiting as many good natured friends as I can until then.

Prob with my house is the council tax (you won't have that - but assuming you know what it is) anyway the council tax band for the house is an 'H' - (Horrendous) being a student I don't pay so I can only have students (as lodgers) in the house TBH otherwise it gets a bit messy. (financially)

Waves to KK - hello glad you had a fun time
