Sorry Haley - first year you get onions - if you grew these ones you'd only get flowers - lovely pretty flowers but flowers nevertheless

    Two choices
Plant them and harvest the green leaves just now as they grow for spring onions
    Or - cook em
Or plant them and let them grow and set a nice flower

If they are too manky to eat then grow them and harvest for early spring onions xx

If you want onions you need to grow some from those wee sets you have to buy xx

The main living dining room is probably big enough to hide an elephant:j

Although to be fair i could get a herd of them in the garden :rotfl:

cheers for that. Am going to do some planning re the garden soon, well over easter and make a note of what i want and where I can put it, especially after you said things can grow in containers. Just had another thought, could beans and pease be grown up a trellis or an arch?

the downside is they'd eat the grass which would make the BRB redundant!
