The revenge of the stripey socks - a DFW adventure

LOL - Lemon Tree I was carless yesterday afternoon as OH took it to rugby - mind you that was at least in part my idea as I had loads of stuff to get done here anyway - knew if the car was here I'd have found somewhere to go!
I feel I should share that my foody-hate is dunked biscuits...urgh, and when a bit breaks off and falls into the tea and you just know it's lurking at the bottom in a sort of slugdge...double ugh! Oh, and my socks are grey and pink woolly knitted ones - sort of stripey and sort of just patterned. Lovely and warm.

Dunked biccies - bleugh - soggy central
You both sound like you have done tonnes.
!! OH should make ferry later on - 6hr drive relationship - you must admit he's got stamina and determination!!
Means we will be together for the best part of 2 weeks all told - which will be nice - although I am already stressing about when we are back to normal.
Way behind in work - same old same old - no confidence so hoping when he's up then I will be able to keep my head up get down ot some work and say um - sorry chaps (to the office morons) not everyone has to write in stuff no-one can understand. Gulps I will be brave.
Well done on speaking to the seeds LT - my pesky chillis are starting to wake up x
Caught another 6 slugs in the greenhouse - monsters a couple of them - maybe I have found the mummy and daddy slug? Lord I hope so - its exhausting constantly checking but they are little 'hedge trimmers' on their own right - one of my trays of seeds were looking a bit mown today - so I hunt them with a vengence - cos when you have one or two slugs you have the capacity to have a billionTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

thankfully the only livestock i find in my greenhouse are my two cats who like to sit with me when i'm playing in there. i think i may just be too impatient, i expect all of them to come up asap and two weeks is just too long for my patience level lol0

lol i had that last year Lucille. I use those wooden stiring sticks you get in coffee shops (training OH from the moment i met him to get a couple of extra's) and last year used permanent market pen to write on them, trouble is it leached off so it was guess work.0

i'll have to get OH to turf them out when they pop their heads up. I can't wait till all my seedlings are big enough to go outside. Told you i have no patience. This year i really want to get stuff working properly, last year i was side tracked by the wedding and the year before side tracked by trips to London and got a late start at things.0
