Yum, SPUDS
I fear I may have expensive tastes now, got a "free" Abel & Cole mixed box last week when I spent £20 (mainly on organic wine which is deeeelish and no hangover, hoorah!)...and the spuds were the best ever....Tesco value spuds just aren't cutting it now
Am I too late to do whatever it is you're supposed to do to spuds to grow them in the garden wot I've not yet dug over or swept up the mountains of leaves from next door's oak tree?
DD's got chickenpox, bless her. She asked why she's got them (it's sweeping through nursery for the nth time, along with measles -luckily she won't have that as she had the MMR jab), so we agreed that the 'pops' are having a party on her body, any excuse to drag out her 4th birthday celebrations for longer0 -

Check on the green fingered site Kittikins, they have a method of growing spuds in old compost bags turned inside out
Yes really!
Saves on digging
And you'll be so inspired that you'll be trying other things.
Don't let anyone scare you into thinking you've missed the boat either. There's stuff you can do to grow vegetables at almost any point in the year - just read some of their stories.
Or ask Fay0 -

pc from catalogue is about 300 quid dearer than shop
First off I would look on Amazon to see what their price is. Also won't places like pc world have a buy now pay later deal? That way you could save up for it and hopefully it won't cost you any interest? I sometimes see people offereing computers on freecycle too... might get you through for now
good luck
