Unix - sorry to hear of the redundancy, hope the next 3 months won't be too gruesome, hugs xx

Hi everyone, been a bit MIA with Amsterdam weekend (no, didn't go to a coffee shop, lol), DD's birthday, work and stuff......have been lurking
  • SAy nothing sound like a lucky escape IMHO,
if his dithering about a week before he's due to move in he could well be a pain in the jacksee once in ,
if he went to the main land on a course Id imagine him to say , well I dont have to pay the full amount for those three days as I wasnt here:confused:

still what do I know ,
cause Im also thinking you should say something like
"I need a 100% answer by XX as if you dont want it I will put an advert in XXX to get someone, I can be messed about any longer."

so whats he going to do if he doesnt move in with you ? can he stay where he is ?

GREAT AVICE HP - You wrote as I said it in real life - he didn't like the confrontation but !!!!!! (scuse the language) I am supposed to be moving him tomorrow - anyway......... and HE HE HE suggested he move in with us when the room was free -

:D:D:DALL SORTED NOW - HES NOT MOVING IN HURRAH - METHINKS HE'D BE A PAIN IN THE DERRIER:D:D:D

:D:DAnd as you all know the holiday home for the slightly deranged is always open - I now have a fully serviced room ready for business - Darwin optional - I will buy a new visitors book for this year:D:D

Lots of my pals stayed last year and provided delights, etc and the odd tesco vouchers were gratefully recieved

Just rejigged my budget whislt its a blow its not the end of the universe if we stick to meal plans etc - it was going to be prioritised for debts - spoke to the lady at the college who gave me the B&B business before and she's got me in mind if anything else turns up - will re email the office and tell them I am happy to have the odd visitor as well as folks for the odd week here and there.

You are so right, sometimes money isn't everything - I think you had a lucky escape from the lodger from hell there.

  • I was thinking possibly not slap the lodger as the other lodger girl hasnt really done anything to offend me.

But I guess I could try - how about slap the house guests instead?

Make it a part of the contract - everyone armed with wooden spoons or swords or something?

But do you have a plan so cunning that you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel? Or are we all in a stickier situation than when sticky the stick insect got stuck on a sticky bun??!! :rotfl:
