Piq if there's not a notice up - stick one up yourself - most jobbing folks won't charge much more than £6-10 quid an hour. And they will often take the stuff away or shred it for you then you can use it on the garden as path material or something? Or just get council to pick it up to compost - keeps thier recycling figures nice and high.
If you do decide to get it cleared or started this year - Then its easy to make an overall work plan and chunk it all up so its not scary. I can have a go at work plan/ redesigning it for you (if you don't have any better offers) if I get basic dimensions, ideas you have and what you do and don't want.........with a couple photos before or after clearing I can also tell you whats in there and what to save/chuck.
Sometimes its easier for an outsider to see the tasks rather than the OMG ramapant garden.
And yeah get a big noisy shredder in or something they head patters can congratulate themselves on the desicration of the shurbbery.
Interesting either way - I'd interfere too much if it was me as wellTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Piq - how about the landshare scheme - you offer your land for someone to grow stuff and they give you half the produce.

HI SM - wee parcel came - thanks so much.
Delighted!!!!!
Wondered if you wanted to sponsor a chicken? A friend has a couple she is thinking of getting rid of - so I might rehome them.
I thought you might like to be thier surrogate mum?
What do you think??!
I can get pics of them and possibly get them to draw you pictures with their feet?
Muddy chookie feet walking over paper should do it??Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

This is the concrete corner that I am going to turn into a hive of veggie growing industry this year:rolleyes: looks depressing doesn't it???
I plan to put in 12 hanging baskets for tumbling toms, two 8 x 4 square foot gardening raised beds, a small 2 x 4foot raised bed, 3 grow bags for potatoes, 2 three tier basket stands, 2 pots for blueberry bushes, and whatever else I can cram in there
This is the boring lawn part of the garden that I am not allowed to dig up - what a waste!!!!! We have another two of these this size on the front and back of grounds. My greenhouse area is along the side of the building at the back on the left and the area above is along the side of the building at the back on the right.
