They were so amazing I wanted to see them all again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Wow you do amazing things!!!!!
(The chicken in one picture looks like it has many boobs but then noticed its the ruffle bit:rotfl:)
Seriously SM - very very impressive.
I can't imagine how you fit everything in!! Are you growing more this year or similar things? I love growing climbing french beans as I prefer hte taste to runners - and they are as pretty.
The seedling thing - yeah its kinda the same philosphy as my old boss - no pricking out and minimal disturbance to roots etc - get them to the filling a 9cm pot stage and you can't do much harm (except forget to water them).
Lawns YAWN - SSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring. Sorry all of you that like them.
LT if OH doesnt want to mow the lawn - just ask him to pop along for some sanitary items for you - and say you'll get on with the lawn - I think you find he might change his mind:D:D
My friends use to lock doors when they saw me coming with anohter basket of courettes so be warned - I hear they post well.
The kids after last years bumper crop of mangetouts can't even see them anymore - we had bowls and bowls of htem every single little day once they started.
And sweetpeas too - I love sweetpeas.
SM am still gobsmacked at your bounty!!
Waving to you all xx
Hey if you want to post courgettes will send you some bags...i can't get enough of the lovely little things...I like sweetpeas too..I am off to some cheapie shops for more seeds now. Was in one yesterday and ummed and aahhed too much. Went without buying, wish i had picked up the onions now:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Hi fay
going to do more this year, there is another area about same size of my corner at the end of the path, unfortunately it is totally concreted, which is why I am going to do raised beds down that end and another load of hanging baskets and pots etc, I bought two blueberry bushes yestreday for down there too also for pots.
Might give the french beans a go this time too. Planning on same again plus in new area kale, calabrese, spring onions, radish, beetroot, lots of salad leaves, little gem, cos, herbs, onions, courgettes and if I can get a deepenough bed made hopefully some butternut squash.
Re the chooks - I would love more than anything to have chooks - even bought the run/house (now in storage ) but my employers refused permission to have them there.

Morning All, right need to start thinking about planting some stuff. I grew potatoes last year. Can't remember when I planted them though. When's best? What else can I plant this time of the year?
SM your stuff looks lovely but I'll pass on courgettes, I have a very nasty reaction to them.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -
