Are there any women buying their men flowers? A few years ago I bought dh roses

I usually buy OH a single stem rose. Had it delivered to his work last year but as its a Saturday this year I'll have it for him when he wakes up.

The nerve of some people. The comments some florists have made on here hardly do much to make you want to use them.
First people who use supermarkets are called cheapskates, well some people can only afford that option and as someone said, its the thought that counts, and generally they do last as long as any others.
Then we are told not to buy £5 bunches, come and pay up to £50. Now, please tell me, who is doing the ripping off? The supermarket charging £5 or the florist at up to £50?
Florists, your sales patter doesnt do it for me.
  • If your budget can afford it, I've found a site called http://www.send-valentines-flowers.co.uk which has some really beautiful rose bouquets on it. Will let you know if i find any codes for it
  • DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS from www.flowers-for-all-occasions.co.uk

I ordered on 4th Feb for flowers to be delivered on 7th.
Phonecall on 7th to say they couldnt deliver due to snow and would arrive Tuesday 10th
Further phonecall on 9th to clarify address
Further phonecall from them on 10th saying couldnt deliver as unsure of address
I rang them today at 12 and again confirmed my address
they rang back at 3 to say they couldt deliver and would give me a refund
I have been refunded but there website proudly boasts 100% satisfaction guaranteed. What a joke.

I think all flowers you buy online come boxed, have you tried your local florist?

Most companies do box but the exceptions are:
    www.send-valentines-flowers.co.uk
    www.teleflorist.co.uk

These only go out via a florist
