You can't really beat Richersounds.
I've had both of my TVs from them, and I've seen both advertised by Currys et al for the same price or more 6 months after I bought mine.
What I would do, is make a list of the stuff you definitely want (inputs for consoles, surround sound, etc) and be clear on what you'll be using it for. Then go into a store and talk to them, say you'd been looking at model X. If you're polite to them, they're generally really switched on, and they'll steer you away from duffers and direct you to the bargains. They might even throw in extras0 -
Ello! I just want a 19 inch, with freeview and dvd... just like the one that was advertised for £99 in HMV a while ago *rollseyes* it had gone up when i went to buy it

we are planning to buy/get a tv too. would love to have lcd, but propably can't afford one right now (and well it is money saving
) living in ilford, so where to get a good working order tv for as little money as possible? (someones old can be our new
). Or you can suggest where to buy something cheap. from 22" and up. smaller would be impossible to look propably. thanks in advance

Hi,
I'm looking to get the Samsung LE32C650. And on Amazon it is £454.50.
It there anywhere which is a cheaper price, i've waited to see if there any in a bank holiday sale, but none cheaper so far.
But i am also thinking about getting it from Richer Sounds as even though, it is 5 quid more, is it worth getting it with the warranty, which will cost an extra £40. But the warranty is for 5 years.
Thanks

You can get this online for only £367.68 if you get this from Currys via Quidco.
First off Quidco have a 5% off code which brings the price down to £379.05 and then you also get 3% tracked which gives you £11.37 cashback and brings the total down to £367.68
Please note that the Currys offer ends on Wednesday.
(I ordered mine on Friday evening and it's arriving tomorrow!)0 -

Well, got mine up and running and I'm satisfyingly impressed! Great picture - easy setup - good sound - looks great on the wall - cant find any faults with it (yet lol) ! Definitely well worth the money - and I researched tv's for about a month before buying - always seemed to come back to this one in comparison stakes. (bought on Amazon for 369quid)! I say go for it!0
