    :)

Or the 503 model from Very or Woolworths (same Littlewoods companies).

Same insides as the 403 but a 'better looking' casing.

Very do Quidco and 10% for new credit customers.

  • Hi all, went to RS yday and JL and Currys today. I'd intended to beat the vat increase too but it seems I cant make a purchase based on what the sales person says so I'll spend a few more days reading reviews.

    Sld I go Full HD ready 1080 or 720? It's a 32" I'm buying.
Also it doesn't have to be 100hz as I dont play comp games?

However, I'll like to be able to use it as a desktop with my laptop so I can watch youtube, online movies, view pictures from my camera etc. That's VGA socket right?
I'll also like it to have freeview and at least two scart sockets and picture quality is most important so sld I look at LED instead of LCD?
My budget is 300, 350 max.
What're your thoughts on the sony nx503 at 300quid?

    Any other suggestions welcomed.
    Thanks in advance all.

I'm looking for a 32" tv with excellent picture quality and will appreicate your suggestions. My budget is maximum 350quid.
I'll like it to have freeview built in and be able to plug my laptop in using the tv as a monitor so I can watch youtube, online movies, view pictures from my camera etc. That's VGA socket right?
Does 1080 or 720 make a difference in a 32inch? Sld I go HD ready or Full HD?
Is there difference in 50 and 100hz on a 32"? I dont play comp games or watch football.
Sld I go LED or LCD?
I'll also like it to have at least two scart sockets and picture quality is most important. My budget is 300, 350 max.

Any suggestions for a 24 or 26" slim TV for the bedroom costing less than £200?

    Thanks.

Only the very cheapest seem to be 720p these days, everything else is 1080.

Not sure here, but I think 100Hz will give you a smoother picture in general too.
However, I'll like to be able to use it as a desktop with my laptop so I can watch youtube, online movies, view pictures from my camera etc. That's VGA socket right?

Check what your laptop has, if it has a DVI output (usually a large white socket) you can plug it into the TV with a cheap DVI to HDMI adapter. If it's VGA (usually a plug socket) you will need a TV that supports that.
I'll also like it to have freeview and at least two scart sockets and picture quality is most important so sld I look at LED instead of LCD?

IMO the number of HDMI sockets are more important than SCART, since SCART is a dead-end technology and you will probably want an HD receiver and Blu-Ray player at some point in the future, however they all have at least two, and I think they all have two SCART sockets too. LED -v- LCD is more a question of price, and I don't think you will get a full LED for your budget.
My budget is 300, 350 max.

Not sure on that model but some people love Sony, some hate. If you like/trust the brand then go for it. You can get a decent branded 32" full HD (but not full LED) for that price from most of the major brands.

This is now showing 'out of stock' and mine hasn't been dispatched yet (but the money's gone), hope the Littlewoods group are OK!!

Next best price seems to be £583 with stock, so we either have an excellent bargain or?????????
