Anyone aware of any offers on Sony 19" or 20" TV's. Got other Sony's and pleased with them so would prefer to stick with Sony.

Not a Sony but apparently this Samsung 20" at Ebuyer is really good. I'm not allowed to post links so copy and paste

Don't know if it's been posted or not or if there are cheaper ones, but this one was sent to me months ago at over £200, I saved it with the intention is to get it for uni (have it delivered to me once I'm there to save me taking it) for PS3 and it seems to have dropped again recently. Hopefully it drops a bit more!

£379, but only £369 if you are a VIP member (sign up free on site) - but better still, get John Lewis to price-match it with a free 5 year guarantee.

do John lewis actually price match?

I just bought this: http://www.johnlewis.com/230575884/Product.aspx but it's cheaper elsewhere... however the 5 year warranty is the main reason for buying from john lewis.

    Being delivered tomorrow...

Yes, JL do price-match and you still get the 5 year guarantee. They don't price-match online items and the item must be in stock.

    Look here: http://www.johnlewis.com/Help/Help.aspx?HelpId=9#pricing
Because of our 'Never knowingly undersold' policy, if our shops are matching prices nationally, then our online prices will go down (and up) accordingly. The prices in our catalogues are the same as in our shops at the time of going to press, but may be subject to change during the life of a catalogue.
We do not apply our shops' 'Never Knowingly Undersold' pricing promise to our online and catalogue prices. We do not price match any online or catalogue competitor prices. This is because we are unable to verify the availability and comparability of the goods and the standards of service and support that are offered by others. However, you can always be assured of the same dedication to competitive pricing and exceptional value you find in our department stores. For information on our shops' ‘Never Knowingly Undersold' statement, please contact your local branch.

Only £279.99 without the dvd player - great deal.

    Lynsey

This TV has now gone back up to £299.99.

I was going to get this price matched with John Lewis to get the 5 year warranty, then I discovered today that they don't match online prices.

Although It's still a good deal.

I'm looking to buy this in the next few days, even though I should learn from my mistake and buy asap...

Martin always recommends buying purchases like this on a credit card.

I don't have a personal credit card at the moment (only business). Can anyone recommend one?

    Thanks.

Gone up all over, you do have to act fast when their is a good deal on.
Richer sounds have this one (decent contrast ratio) for £319.95 (£351.90 with 5 year guarantee) - see if JL have it in stock and get it matched at £319.95

    Hello,

I can't recommend where there is a good deal but just wanted to say we have the 42" Viera. Had it for 2(maybe 3??) years and it is a great TV. Really nice, great picture quality. My OH spent - honestly - 12 months just checking out TV's, the features, how many ports etc they have.... it was exhuasting just watching him!

TBH £699 seems fantastic to me because we paid about £1200 at the time!! (I know I know so much £!! but it was a long time ago, and OH had his first big bonus!)
