Love them?I have a wally trolley, but never heard that name before. Never driven a car in my life, so it's vital for fruit and veg from the market. However, although my wt is plain black and as elegant as you like (hey, this is Islington, man, we is cool, innit ?)
lately I've taken to wearing my (32 litre) rucksack when out, so if I get lured into an unforeseen shopping situation, can carry the booty home on my back. This might be the answer to Bogof-Babe's question about what you do in smaller shops where no wheeled baskets. It's also good for avoiding plastic bags and other people's ankles, although if you turn round sharpish with a loaded rucksack you can knock some poor soul for six, so the potential for being a Public Nuisance is retained.

Love them?Anyone know where I could buy a cord which would be suitable to replace the one in my funky cow print trolley. It's like a soft cotton pleated black cord and it's started to fray big time. Ideas welcome. Haven't contacted Novela about it, just thought I'd be able to pick up some cotton cord from somewhere to fix it. :j I got a trolley today! £3.99 from the RSPCA shop, just as well as I got a bit carried away in the shop. It is large, got loads in there, blue and red check rather than a tartan with the word Cachet on the front. It is lightweight, handles kerbs well and was so easy to wheel along behind me (though I nearly bowled over a couple of people on the way back to the car!:o well I am a learner;)) I used to hate trolleys when I was younger, I am sure that the old tartan and wicker ones used to have nasty spokes at the bottom which could become lethal weapons with some drivers!
I would still one day like to get one with a seat (for resting and pacing) but very happy with my bargain one for now.Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Love them?Hello everyone,
I have been wondering about getting a Rolser trolley and emailed (Novela) Rolser for some information. I asked about a discount for MSE-ers and this is the reply I got from them below:-
"With regard to the MoneySavingExpert offer, we could extend that offer again. It would be 5% - just quote MSE in the 'special comments' box on our order form on our website. The offer ends on February 29th 2008. "
The website is www.rolser.co.uk.
Hope this helps if anyone would like to order one. :wave:A penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -
Love them?Nice one Rabbit, that is brilliant :-)
Which Rolser did you choose? My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Ooh,I would love one of the cow prints and there is a really nice black and white floral design too.
I don't drive,so a trolley would certainly come in handy,I am fed up with staggering home loaded up with shopping bags.
I have until the end of February to get the discount,so I shall have to work out whether I can justify buying one.0 -

Which Rolser did you choose?
Hi, I am going to a shop in Northampton tomorrow to have a look at some (Chanse Leather Goods) apparently they have a few so I thought I could compare what I've got to them without ordering. Then once I am certain I can make my order over the net from Rolser and get the discount.
I fancy the Mountain one in Navy (so my dh will pull it too LOL).
My Ikea trolley has a thin bar across the back near to the zipped pocket which I use to hang it on the supermarket trolley, (I push it up between the handle and attach it to the bag hook). I don't think I'll be able to do this with a Rolser though, as I don't think they have a bar there.
Anyway I'll let u know how I get on. Bye for now
p.s anniewoo, I would seriously consider one then, I wouldn't be without mine, they are a brilliant idea. The cow print is expensive compared to the other ones they do.A penny saved is one you don't have to earn! :wave:0 -
I thought I would be reviving this thread but I see it's got a post for this year.
I'm wondering how you're all getting on with your trolleys and if you're still using them.
I'm fancying the rolster black and pink and wondering if anybody can recommend it after long time use.
I wouldn't be using it an awful lot but I NEED one now.
With RA I can only do short shopping trips and today I carried too much and kn***ered my neck, shoulders ankles everything  and to top it off I couldn't find my car in the car park, so OH said I have to have a trolley for when he cant be with me:eek::o:D
So would you update your experiences and recommendations for me Please.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

Love them?Hi needmoney - my black and pink Rolser is going strong after approx 8 months (?) of serious abuse, being dragged upstairs while overloaded, etc etc etc. It is still fine - touch wood - other than a tiny rip in the bag caused by using it to carry something big with corners.
The only thing I would say is that when I do wear this one out, my next one will be a six wheel stairclimber. I wish I had bought one in the first place - though they don't come in the black and pink, which was one of the reasons why I didn'tI doubt if it's a factor if you live in a house, but I am in a first floor flat with TWENTY THREE STAIRS between street level and home
