  • Hiya Sharon (aka not Suep:o)

Fantastic news that you're back home. There's nothing like a proper cuppa for lifting the spirits. Take it easy and slowly. Hope Thurs goes well. I know this is a difficult time, but we are all in your corner and sending you hugs and positive vibes across the net. Well done for getting up on those crutches, you sound like a real fighter...you go girl!!!

    :grouphug:
  • Yoo Hoo!! Sharon's back! We missed you, lovie! We're all sending lots of love and hugs your way. Bet it's great to be back home in your own bed.
You just come and lean on us when you need to let things out. (((Hugs)))

I think it was sue or you, sharon ages ago who was asking about a cheapie sewing machine. Tescos has them in stock again now (or at least at my local anyhoo) at a tad under £29.

My head has stopped working after an arduous audit job this afternoon, so I'll stop posting nonsense and wish you all sweet dreams and a good night.

p.s. Pesto and pasta would have been nice - I had the pesto and not the pasta, so toast and scribbled egg it was.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

hi sharon VERY good to see you here :D:D [strike]huuuuuge [/strike]very gentle hugs. Will be thinking about you on thursday and i hope it all goes well. I cant imagine how scared you must be feeling but i hope being back at home is more reassuring for you xx

s/e you are so right about the clock, most of the time its the pain thats keeping me awake [hopefully not after i see the gp ;) well i can hope cant i lol] but watching the time defintely doesnt help.

cwta my boys are 11 and 14 and are very good kids but i dont really ask them to do much in the house, i have to say its pretty tidy most of the time as at that age they tend to keep all the mess in their rooms [thats their domain to keep clean] and everything that ds2 brings down to the lounge[always lego!!!] goes back up with him in the evening, saying that the conservatory is starting to look a little like a lego room  i only do whats necessary now as i used to be a bit obsessed with cleaning and a house should look like a home anyway ;) ooops blathered on again there didnt i :o

iv just won another 2 books from the galaxy chocolate competition :D im enjoying this comping

  • raeh, I was just thinking about how worn down you were before half term. Hopefully GP will be able to help with pain. I used to obsessed with housework with 1st ex-dh to the point of not having a social life so I could clean and cook etc, but then was under a fair bit of pressure from him. I'm now the opposite - food can stay in the carrier bag on the floor of the kitchen and I'll use it from there! Perhaps I've gone too far in the other direction now *grin*

I soooo want to know about this snog you have won!

SueP... glad to hear you have found a book you like, not so glad to hear it involves Stephenie Meyer's abysmal writing. Not to be uppity, but if you're going to talk about it, please do it off-thread or in one of its own in the Arms? Then I can avoid getting all het-up anytime I come on-thread... I really hate Twilight and everything to do with it.

Sharon, good to see you back, I hope things go well for you!

As for me... off to Germany tomorrow. (Yay for cheapie flights!) See you all in about a week's time. :)

Ah well, if we all liked the same things it would be a very boring world wouldnt it ;) My lips are sealed now and I wont mention you know what again  Hope you have a good time in Germany

Omelette is a good idea actually as I'm drowning in eggs since the hens started laying. Getting minimum of 4 eggs a day! Roll on Easter *grin*
I have this rather disturbing mental image of CwtA sitting in a giant bowl of batter mix.:eek::eek:

(((((Sharon))))) Lovely to see you back online. What price a decent cup of tea, eh?

I'm a tired Wolf today; Mr LW was snoring for England last night. Added to the fact that ...um.... how can I put this.... he didn't want to go and have a bath as soon as the alarm went off this morning.;) I'm supposed to be doing cross stitch, but I think I'm a bit too shattered to concentrate on it.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • I've sludged my way out of the batter back to the thread. *grin*
LW, I would suggest you go back to bed for a bit, but ....... *grin*

Told Dad today that I wouldn't be stayiing with him whilst his wife is away, but that I woud pop in everyday and we could have some trips out together.
I told him that it wasn't my job to look after him or stop him drinking. That being said, he was sober!! And I didn't see any evidence of booze out in the house, although I know he has his hiding places.
