its dull and dreary out again today but dry so far :(

no presents form chloe last night, but she is sulking becaus ei locked her catflap during dusk and i dont think she realised it was open again until i got up this morning, which was a couple of hours after dawn for a change.

bz looking forward to hearing all (and the pictures) when you feel up to it, you have a quiet few days planned to recover?

It does look like a dead duck now you've said it! Lying on it's back with feet and beak pointing skywards! It's a Cala Lilly (I think) but will forever now be known as blackpaw's dead duck :D

bz The dangers of drinking, dancing and having a good time eh? Hope you have a restful day and can tell us all about it when you feel up to it.

pcl Sneaky! I bet when she realised Chloe looked at you as if it was al your fault that she hadn't realised it was open

Taking Dad into town for lunch and a haircut today - he says he's feeling a little less stiff thank goodness.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

    Hi everyone.

Well, you've all been busy over the weekend by the look of it.

Unity I hope your DS gets on OK with his op. Maybe he could wear a David Beckham style sarong?:D:D

BZ have you recovered from the [STRIKE]8 steamboats[/STRIKE] hen night yet?

Auntie Axe I hope your dad's feeling a bit better after his run-in with the shed door.

Pcl I'm not overly fond of moths, but the only thing that really freaks me out is wasps.:eek::eek: Mind you, if one of them stings me, it's a hospital jobby, lickety-split, as I'm allergic.

Molly-Dog's gone home now - our pal picked her up yesterday afternoon, so no more little black face to greet us in the mornings. I'll get around to putting a couple of pics in my photobucket later.

I forgot to mention, when we went to the Anglian Wolf Society open day, we won an observation visit for 4 people, so Mr LW and I and a couple of Mr LW's friends will be going along to see the wolves again on 13th September - which just happens to be our 6th wedding anniversary!;):o:cheesy:

I've forgotten most of what I was going to reply to now - been getting up and doing stuff in between typing this, as Mr LW is working from home today and therefore needed feeding at 13:00, and of course cooking lunch = a bloomin' great pile of washing up.

Anyway, ((((HUGS)))) to all, hope you're all having a good day today.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I'm doing sweet FA today. Should have the friends who are doing the cake coming round tonight (with samples :D) to finalise arrangements for that, but he's just rung and said he's not sure if it might have to be put back to tomorrow.
The photos were all taken on other peoples cameras so I'm waiting to get them from then. Latest I should have some is Thurs tho as we're seeing one of the girls who took them then.

It didn't help that when I got home I really wanted a shower, as I had half a can of hairspray in my hair and it was beginning to feel like dreadlocks! Plus the places we went to were so hot that I felt grimey. When I'd had my shower, DF had got home and had his shower, and we'd discussed the events of the evening he somehow moved funny and put his back out! Managed to get to bed about 5am! Then I was up twice with IBS in the night and then we had to get up for church...SO not enough sleep!:o

  • lw She's adorable! I have a special fondness for black labs. Hope you get to have more doggie cuddles soon.
Well done on the comp win - specially on the day of your wedding anniversary and THE WEDDING OF THE CENTURY *g*

pcl I hope you have a mothless night tonight and any nocturnal visits are from friendly little ginger puddies.

bz Blimey - catch up on your sleep/rest etc - we don't mind too much if you stay smelly *g*
Hope DF's back doesn't grumble at him too much.
