Kass Im going to show your post to DD whos been refusing to pay for new car tax, apparently her social life is more important  She eventually coughed up half the money and DH paid the rest (mug) but she still thinks she doesnt really need it ! She's causing lots of rows at home right now and Im starting to wish she'd move out.
They couldnt fit Dads op in today so it's now going to be first thing tomorrow.
I had to go to the drs this morning to pick up a repeat script and they now have anti-bacterial handwash at the reception and a big sign saying you must use it before you enter the surgery and before you leave.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

I just tried to catch up with posts. seems I haven't been here since last week.
Hugs sharon I do hope you get better news about your lungs and it is the more treatable type. I am praying for you. Is that allowed on MSE?
bz you must be getting really excited now about the wedding. The hospital sound pretty rubbish. Can you try for a cancellation? If you have already tried and I haven't read your post please excuse that suggestion.
Hi pcl, cwta, sue, raeh, kass, blackpaw, LW and snoozer and anyone else I have forgotten. Hope you all have a good day today.
I am still in jarmies but downstairs. I have had two busy days visiting relatives with my brother and went out to a lovely country pub last night. I didn't get home til 11.30, which is very late for me. I felt like I had been drinking all night when I woke up but of course had no alcohol whatsoever.
I am taking it easy today. DB goes back down South, either tomorrow or Friday so I probably won't be on here very much. He hogs the laptop, but needs to talk to his kids in Australia. His need is definitely greater than mine.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

We'll see if there's the option to have it done privately and what it would entail and take it from there...
I am, however, getting excited about the wedding. I'm not sure if I'm being nicely chilled, or whether I'm being niavely chilled and not doing enough. Iyswim?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
I must have missed your post sharon. I'm so sorry you have more !!!!!! to fight. I'm hoping that it's the better of the two evils xxxx
I've just been for my ESA interview. Felt like a right fool cos I was already teary eyed when I got up to her desk. They told me at reception that my appointment was at 11.20 (it was now 12) I said that there must be a mistake as I had spoken to her at 11.30 to confirm my 12 o'clock appointment. She basically called me a liar as they have their dinner at twelve. I started to explain that she had kindly squeezed me in but she cut me off and pointed to some stairs and told me to sort it out with the reception up there. I couldn't believe it, no lifts!! I had to struggle up two flights of stairs and then the woman who I was seeing was right at the other end of the building.
She was really nice though but I still ended up blubbering cos saying things out loud just seemed really depressing!
Was gonna come home and open the bottle of wine that's in my fridge but then remembered I'm on antibiotics. Ah well, probably just as well eh.0
