Wasn't he! I watched Moonwalker earlier, he was amazing and soooooo gorgeous. Just a shame he ruined his looks like he did. Even as a kid he was amazing!!0

nah, i tend to avoid the swings/park on a weekend or school holidays because there are more often kids there. think im gonna have a wonder down to the park now though just for a walk, then i have to be elsewhere.
im glad she ahs settled in so well0 -
I've got the crawly thing going on and it's doing my head right in!! My feet feel really hot and swollen, akthough they aren't swollen. Grrrrrrrrr0

kass I sometimes sit with my feet in a bowl of cold water - you can always put something in the water to help soften them too?
pcl Discovered there's a duck pond about a quarter of a mile away from here - drove past it the other day. I've always had a "thing" about feeding the ducks - takes me straight back to childhood so I may have a wander down there tomorrow when the heat of the day is gone.
Hope everyone is OK and having fun.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Toothsmith wrote: »Whatever the service BZ, the charge is a statutory NHS charge - like a prescription charge - and you owe it.
It's not the dentist who devised the system. He just has to work it as best he can. He might love to send his staff on customer care courses, or even employ better ones - but such is the funding of the NHS.
It's not made easier by having to chase payments either.
Don't worry Toothsmith, I will pay...when they've actually done the referral that I went for.purplecatlover wrote: »going to wander down to the park and see if there are no teenagers on the swings, i need some chill time and the swings are a good place to think.pcl wrote:and while im on that subject, since im a bit unusual and asexual, what do you guys think? does every single heterosexual male want to sleep with every single heterosexual female he meets (well of a suitable age that is), and does the same then apply for gay people and thus is it then unsafe for a female to have either male hetero friends or female gay friends because either option means they might want to slep with her, and its very awkward if they might (no clue as to if they do or not) fancy her? im sick of arguing with my friend about it.pcl wrote:i refuse to play wow, i dont see why i should pay 30quid for a game that i can only play online and that i will have to buy future editions off or extras for in order to coninue playing."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

Pcl, I meant to reply to your question then promptly forgot (thanks bz, you reminded me). I'm not quite sure what the question is but I kind of echo what the others have said. I've had this discussion before about women being able to go out and be guaranteed sex if she wants it but the same can't be said for men. Regarding the issue of sexuality. I'm even less sure what it is you're asking but I know a female who had a female gay friend who tried it on with her when she stayed over one night. They shared a bed and she never thought anything of it as they were friends and the gay girl knew the straight girl was straight as they were really good friends for years. It kind of spoiled it a bit for a while but they are good friends again now. I think she just read the signals wrong/was drunk or something. I wouldn't blink an eye at sharing a bed with my female or male friends who are gay simply because they are my friends and I've shared beds with straight male friends without even thinking any deeper into it than "I can't be @rsed getting a taxi home"
Does anyone know if you have any kind of grace period for your car tax? Mine runs out next week and I don't have the money for it untill the tenth. Do you think they turn up straightaway to tow it if you don't pay on time? What about if I park it in my garden? Can they do anything then? I'm papping myself!!0 -
Why do I feel like I've just had my hands slapped...?

You'll be on a loser there.
If it were me - I wouldn't do the referal until the account was settled.
Plus - if you've not paid, you will have no grounds to make any official complaint against them. You'll also be looking for a completely new practice the next time you need help in a hurry.
You've more to lose than to gain by not paying. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
