Well done Auntie Axe.
I'm waiting for Mr LW to put a cup of tea in front of me. Well, why have a dog and bark yourself? He's working from home today, as there's something wrong with the air conditioning in the server room at Letchworth (don't ask me). So I'm likely to be awash with tea by the end of the day.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Aww lw you can never have too much tea ;o)
The only downside is you end up having to move from the sofa to go to the loo!
Tis everso muchly humid here today but the rain is holding off so far - I'm very glad I've got an afternoon of fiddle farting around here. Must schedule some of these in next week rather than accepting so much work - sorting things out goes slowly in this heat.
Still with the radio on in the background it's nice and homely.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

pcl Did a Mystery shop in Falmouth this morning - I hate Falmouth; it never was the nicest of places, but half the shops have now closed down and it's looking dire and depressed.
I forgot for the fourth day running to take my paperwork with me to tax the car so will have to go out again later and do that. I even went and parked up at the Post Office as I was convinced I had put the stuff in my bag.
Pottering around for the rest of the day getting upstairs and maybe living room sorted and may treat myself to fishy chips tonight.
What are you up to?
went to my aqua class, knackered now but feel better for having had the exercise. then stopped for a cuppa with some of them after, calle din at my friends so i dont get nagged for being antisocial and got bullied in to going round there for dinner tonight as apparently every single person when with someone of the sex they fancy assumes they are invited to things because they are fancied. oh and apparently its really suspicious for person, who has agreed to do gardening but has taken over a month to get round to it, to be invited for dinner as an incentive to come early and spend a few hours doing the garden if only the two females (mother and daughter) who normally eat dinner together are present.
and while im on that subject, since im a bit unusual and asexual, what do you guys think? does every single heterosexual male want to sleep with every single heterosexual female he meets (well of a suitable age that is), and does the same then apply for gay people and thus is it then unsafe for a female to have either male hetero friends or female gay friends because either option means they might want to slep with her, and its very awkward if they might (no clue as to if they do or not) fancy her? im sick of arguing with my friend about it.Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »It is sad that MJ has died - young too. At first I wondered if it was a hoax with the upcoming concerts - there have been so many outlandish stories about his life. Whatever you thought about his troubled self, he was a musical genius (like my fave Freddie Mercury) and there aren't many of the great showmen left.Oh, you'l love NWN2. We have it installed on Mr LW's machine (downside of that being that I can't just go ahead and play it when I want to). Original NWN is installed on my machine. The other one we really enjoyed is Oblivion.;)
never even heard of oblivion. i tried playing nwn1 once, but didnt have the concentration to figure it out (i had just finished one of the age of empires sets or something), and by the time i went back i had lost the code. my sister usually picks good games though. i had the same problem with dungeon siege but really enjoyed it when i played it earlier this year.SaucySecrets wrote: »Thanks everyone. In so much discomfort, I just can't seem to find a position to sit in.
LameWolf I love oblivion!! Got it for the PS3, it's brilliant. Started playing World Of Warcraft last night, too...I'm so cool :P
i refuse to play wow, i dont see why i should pay 30quid for a game that i can only play online and that i will have to buy future editions off or extras for in order to coninue playing.
careful dont overdo it this afternoon sorting rooms though, have fun and well done for already having the tax done, i hate having to go out again like that. its horrid and muggy and humid here too.
saucy hope you managed to get an appointment asap, do indeed tell him exactly how badly its affecting you next time you see him.
lw im with careful you can never ever have too much tea. sometimes would be nice to not have to move to go to the loo though.0 -
Interesting question pcl. *ponders*
I think the only thing I can add is something someone once told me - that women choose which men to sleep with and men sleep with any woman that allow them to. I would have thought it was a lot of hassle for someone who is gay to try to sleep with someone who isn't gay - after all a hetrosexual person would automatically assume that someone of their own gender who is gay is out of bounds? Does that make sense?
Majority of books now unpacked and either on shelves or stacked on floor, so time for a sit in the garden to cool down I thinks.
Am contemplating being civilised and having a Pimms later as it was £8 in Asda and I gave in to temptation and bought a bottle *g*
Never go to Asda when you have your "spending" head on!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
enjoy the garden, and the books and the pimms
annoyingly there were kids on the swings.0 -
Kids on the swings?! They have absolutely no right to be on there when we need them! *g*
I agree there is something very therapeutic about swinging (on a swing *g*)
I've been friends with blokes who I have mildly fancied and it's never been a problem because neither I nor the blokes concerned have allowed it to be. It would be different if it was an all out crush though .....
I am reet tuckered out now and planning a lie in tomorrow. Spent some happy time at the garden centre today dreaming and got some plants from casualty corner at 30p each! Sweet!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Ok i am going to do it, i'm gonna go out into town.
Don't panic i live right by Cabot circus and there is a mobility shop across the road from me to hire a wheelchair, I have decided if i go out is to be realistic knowing i cant walk far, so will take advantage of the mobility shop.
My son just asked can we get a motorised one (he want to put a V8 engine on there - he thinks he's the next Jeremy Clarkson)
Will let you all know later how our adventure today wentLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0
