Lewt Your friend would be better off going to the doctor and speaking again about pain relief. Sorry not to be of more help, but we aren't allowed to give any medical advice here.
Morning everyone
bz You must be exhausted. Hope you manage to get a decent sleep and feel refreshed.
I finally managed to get the back seats of the car up again yesterday which is real progress as it's been full of boxes etc for ages. Sold tabletop dishwasher for £110 and bought a 2nd hand slimline one for £35 which is being delivered today - tabletop one ould only have gone on the floor in the slot where the dishwasher goes in the kitchen, so not much use really.
House Fairy over for a coupla hours this afternoon.
I'm getting there!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
bz glad you got home safe and it was a nice send off. i hope you managed to sleep and i hope you have nothing planned for today or tomorrow, you need to take it easy for a couple of days.
lewt i dont have fm so cant suggest anything on that front, but i would say that one of the best things you can do for our friend is continue to be there for her and support her. understand when she cant come out or go shopping, when she has to stay home or has to break arrangements and dont drift away form her. stick around here, send your friedn this way if you (and she) want, they are a wonderfully supportive bunch of people.0 -

Have you guys noticed the new multiquote button?? :shocked:purplecatlover wrote: »bz i hadnt noticed the new button either, now i want to try it out but it doesnt appear to work. at least clicking on it isnt doing anything. hope today is going/has gone as ok as possible.
cwta whitney is sulking with me because i wont turn the rain off for her lol, shes curled up in the window instead of beside me atm.
sue hope lunch and the mum visit were enjoyable.
kass contracts all signed and sorted?
there seem to be a bunch of people missing in action, hope our all ok.Maybe that's why there's a two-hour shutdown scheduled for Friday - to get it working?
Just been lurking recently - but saw the posts about the new button and it works! If you see a number of posts you want to reply to, hit the new multi-quote button on each one and when you've selected a few, hit the normal quote button and it puts them altogether on a reply box. As Alexander the meercat would say: "Simples":D.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

pcl The tabletop dishwasher size is, hmmm. Imaginer a fridge turned on it's side and it's about that height, depth but about half the length iyswim.
You can feed the plumbing off the taps and the drain hose down the plug, but would need adaptors for the taps for it. TBH I haven't been that impressed with the quality of the wash, so am pleased to go back to a full size one, albeit a slimline version. Just about to plumb one one in and put on wash for the first time. Wish me luck!
Hope you like your hair when you get used to it. It'll probably be much easier to look after iof it's shorter.
I'll play with the multi-quote when I've got my BB up on Monday as this mobile connection is fine as a stop gap, but is more at dial up speed which is frustrating.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
i shall stick with my plan to save up for the plumbing needed and have a cupboard removed to fit a slimline in then. thanks0
