Suep not great tbh, there's been so much going on with my stepfather's recent demise that I keep getting horrible flare-ups. I spent most of yesterday in bed hardly able to move and feeling so nauseous that my head was spinning. Apart from that, thumbs up, really :D

I hope your dinner wasn't burnt - I'm great at forgetting I'm cooking something until I smell burning.
Welcome back Tiger  you made me chuckle with the "apart from that, thumbs up, really :D" :rotfl: That's what I'm like when people ask me, always pass it off with a bit of a joke/sarcasm ;)
I also have forgetting about cooking down to a fine art!
how is it that people manage to post things which were not there when i posted but are there now before my post?

sorry i wasnt meaning to ignore anyone before, not that i had anything useful to say or anything of course.
I do the same thing pcl...and you made me :D too with the "not that I had anything usfeul to say..." :rotfl:

I managed to get to sleep about...2ish? and slept through to 2.30pm when pops rang and woke me  Still knackered though, and don't worry pcl I have no plans to do anything for quite some time!
few days of doing nothing will hopefully sort out the knackeredness. is that a word? 2ish wasnt bad considering you were still on here at 1ish iirc :)

    Lol pcl!

You look nothing like I imagined! I hope your hair's more ruley(sp?) than mine is! I'd end up spending longer looking after it than I do now if my hair was that short...such is the awkwardness of my locks

well see i actually do own a pair of straighteners, they have been out of the box once, i once tried gel or wax or something and just made a mess. and umm i do own hairbrushes but they are covered in dust. that tells you how long i spend sorting my hair lol. when it was long long it lived in a pony tail 24hours a day, its gotten shorter and shorter every time ive been to the hairdressers since last october. they ahve not yet suceded in getting me to do anything more than wash it and turn up there for appointments she makes me before i leave.

ps what did you imagine i looked like?

Hi everyone, Ive had a hectic day and not had a chance to get online. An old friend I used to work with came to visit this morning, I hadn't seen her for about 8 years, then she found me on facebook. I was a bit nervous about seeing her after such a long time, but it was like Id only seen her last week, we didnt stop talking, we're going to meet up again when I get back from my holiday.

This afternoon I went to Dads, he's having the op on Tuesday, and as you know Im going away on Wednesday, so it was my last chance to see him beforehand.

So Im quite tired now and the nerve pains coming back so all I want is a bath and my bed, after Ive eaten of course.

pcl I love your hair, it looks really easy to look after.

lewt has your friend got wheat bags ( the more the better) and a tens machine ? although the latter dont suit everyone, but although they dont get rid of the pain, I find they make it more bearable, and I couldnt cope without them, also tiger balm is good.

BZ Glad yesterday went well and your back home safely. Hope it doesnt take you too long to recover from the journey.

I feel the same way... if someone else could organise all of the above, that would be awesome.

I heart sarcasm, I don't know how I'd cope without it :rotfl:

Thank God for kitchen timers eh! I'd be fine if I remembered to set mine :o I've had to invest in a really good set of stainless steel pans because I've ruined so many over the years, even the Teflon ones :o My best tip is put a little washing powder/liquid and some water in the burned on pan and let it simmer on the oven for a while. It gets all manner of [STRIKE]cack[/STRIKE] caramelisation off my pans :rotfl:
