bz resting sounds a fine idea. You do realise the rules with dogs and cats is that if they go out of one door they have to come in through the other one and vice versa. Unless there a closed door, then it had to be that one *g*.
Barking dogs are a bloomin nuisance aren't they. Most ones I've come across, when you shout "Shut up!" they think you're joining in and go at it even more *g*
I get that prickly feeling and itchiness when I come in from the sun after a cool bath or shower. Almost like I've taken Tramadol when I haven't.
Am drinking the remnants of a cold cup of coffee coz I cba to make another one. Terrible really *g*I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

On line for the hottest day of the year so far!
I made the mistake of trying out an airbrush tan kit that I got for my burfday last night  They say a leopard can't change its spots, can an Auntie Axe change her stripes?! I don't think I'll be leaving the house for a couple of days

Very MSE Aunty I must say.Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »My HF (now friend) is coming over for coffee and a natter this afternoon she's having a rough time at the moment - 3 months pregnant and boyfriend has just been kicked out as he's got a bit "handy" with her. She's a bit isolated as doesn't have many friends here. Poor lassy.
I feel bad I've had to stop her from cleaning for me to save a little money, but at least I can be supportive in other ways.
Maybe I'm learning that I can't solve everyones problems when I have problems myself to deal with.
I'm glad she has a friend like you. The bar steward!!!!
pcl I know exactly what you mean. It's not actually that hot in my house atm but my feet still feel like they are really swollen and painful and I'm just so tired from it. I'm on the sofa in a starfish position0 -

i regularly make cold coffee when its hot. make a pot of filter, drink a couple or 3 cups hot, leave the rest to go cold, refridgerate and add milk to make cold late. ice optional depending on if its made or not, ice cream scoop also optional.
i ought to do something similar with my tesco thingys, no idea how many i have and keep foregetting to open/use the money of vouchers the send too.
making a medical power of atourney is too expensive and doesnt come under legal aid, well the solicitors time doesnt. however it would be the doctors who would make any final decisions etc. i shall ahve to look into what affect a living will would have apart from making medical people aware of my wishes.0 -

i shall have a hunt and see what i can find. thanks bz. the only part of a living will that is legally binding is a refusal for treatment in certain circumstamces, you can say who yoou would want consulted but they dont have to follow it.0

pcl are there any Charities you could ask about this? Surely someone, somewhere hs come across this situation before? Good luck and if I can do any research for you, just let me know.
I had a lovely couple of hours with my friend - she's not doing too bad all things considered. I'm really appreciating having a friend I feel comfortable being myself with - it's a bit of a revelation for this (previous) loner.
She was in hysterical laughter about my fake tan - I may have to post a photo - it's soooo bad *g*I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
In the interests of MSE pcl, you don't need to buy anything for a will. You can write it on a matchbox and as long as it's been witnessed then it's legal. It has to be witnessed by someone who doesn't stand to gain anything from the will so I presume there will be something along the same lines for a living will.
Is there a solicitor that does clinics in your area? The ones in my area do them but only criminal law. However there is a new community enterprise project that my old employers set up and they do a clinic every week in there where you can get advice on family law and the like. If there is nothing like this in your area then I could always go to this place on your behalf if you like.
Right, off to watch rest of me soaps!0
