Thanks Cwta, I'll try and be brave ;) I think I've been a bit down and lethargic lately because of the abcess, so I'm hoping once it's gone I'll be a bit better... did you have just an injection or..? It's not that I'm scared, I just don't wanna see- and with it being my front tooth I'm a tad apprehensive...

  • bz I am petrified of dentists, so I took a Kalms beforehand and just had local anaesthetic, stuck my MP3 player in my ears and closed my eyes. It didn't take long at all.
They are very sympathetic to nervous/scared patients these days with the option of a sedative I think they call "Twilight Sleep" where it not only sedates you, but afterwards you can't remember it being done. You wouldn't be able to drive afterwards though so DF would have to come with.
You'll be a lot happier and healthier with the work done I'm sure.

Just managed to clean off most of the phone I melted on the cooker top. Yay!

I never think about whether something suits me or not; if I like it and it fits, I buy it!

Im exactly the same cwta, Im trying to dress a bit nicer at the moment, Im fed up with always feeling a mess, especially when the glam dil's come round :o

DD's boyfriend has taken her to Alton towers for her birthday, they are staying in the new hotel that has a water park in it tonight.

Ive been trying to rest today, but we had to go shopping earlier although I use one of the stores scooters to go round. We thought it would be quiet this afternoon as the footballs on, but it was full of women and kids (dh's remark )
we are going to visit ds1 in his new flat tomorrow, they moved on Tuesday and love it.
Hope everyones enjoying the sunshine, aunti axe you will soon be able to sit in your garden :D

    I'm back!!!

Just been to my sisters as it's my nephews birthday and I forgot!! :o
So I turn up half an hour late for the party with nothing but a quickly scribbled card!! I'm such a bad aunty!

My aunt has just mentioned that a low grade infection such as an abcess could be contributing to my feeling ill and I've had these for three years!

Good idea with the MP3 player Aunty Axe, I might just have another crack at the dental clinic using that relaxation method. You make curtains too! Is there no end to your talents :D

Are we all watching Britains Got Talent???

  • raeh what did you pick up at the home bargain place? I love bargains.
It's been a beautiful day today - I went to go to Perranporth, but couldn't park anywhere near so will try again on Monday when it'll hopefully be quieter. Thank you for saying such a sweet thing about me "going on". Part of it is that I don't have anyone else to share it with, so do it on here *g*
Removal man now booked and I have a sniff of a sofa and chair for 1p provided I pick up in the next 4 days! Gotta be worth paying a man and a van to do it at that price!

auntie axe i love the fact that everyone talks about their lives on here as it extends mine?? even though i work and do get out quite a lot its still pretty limited compared to 'normal' people :o its nice to feel part of things??

home bargains was a little disappointing this week, i got my usual toiletries and cleaning stuff but also sweets for the kids and 2 very cute little folding garden chairs for my niece and nephew :D a pink one and a blue one only £1.99 each :D also a paddling pool for them :p they often have some great bits and pieces, i like to check the thread in grabit to see whats about at the moment lol

well theres half a mansion being built in my apple tree i think lol, lots of hammering and drilling to be heard so i think i may wander down that way and see whats happening ;)

Oooh really bz? I had it done for mine and I didn't remember a thing. Felt fine afterwards and drove straight home. I know I shouldn't have really but there were no buses and the hospital was 35 miles away from home so didn't have much choice!

I'd quite happily have that done again for my teeth so long as there were no dentists in sight until after I was under *g*

Really wanted Stavros to win tonight : ¬ (
