Just been to my sisters as it's my nephews birthday and I forgot!! :o
So I turn up half an hour late for the party with nothing but a quickly scribbled card!! I'm such a bad aunty!
Lol - that sounds like me Kass and I'm still their favourite, so I wouldn't worry about it too much ;)

Oooh really bz? I had it done for mine and I didn't remember a thing. Felt fine afterwards and drove straight home. I know I shouldn't have really but there were no buses and the hospital was 35 miles away from home so didn't have much choice!
My colonoscopy was horrendous. They couldn't complete it cos I was in so much agony. AND they damaged my coccyx

So Diversity won? Yay! I've not watched it tonight cos I was making tea etc. I've managed to inherit not only the dogs whilst mil2b is in hospital...but also my 11yr old nephew campaigned to stay tonight after the suit measuring business so I've got him tonight too! I did get him to help me do the first coat on the bench while I second coated the table though...:D

I'm stiff as a board now and knackered and achey. I think an early night may well be called for...

  • Was the colonoscopy the one you "didn't tolerate well"? I'm sorry to laugh, but that comment is just a classic.

Hope you get some decent rest tonight bz It'll be nice when you feel a lot better - I miss your chatter.

Oooh I nearly forgot...we saw these cars today and asked about having one of them for our wedding! :) Aren't they gorgeous?? He said he owns the cars and that the company who clients usually hire through pay at least £550 but he could do them direct for £375 and doesn't mind doing multiple trips (there's 15 between my house/town and the church and another 8 between the church and the venue) :)

BZ the cars are beautiful, if you can afford them Id go for it.

I woke up at 7.30 this morning  on a sunday thats unheard of. It's not helping where its so light in the mornings, it's waking up my dog who sleeps beside my bed and she starts fidgeting which wakes me up. I've got to get some darker curtains.

we're going to a big market on the way to ds1's this morning, I'll take my trusty scooter ;) and will stock up on cheap fruit and veg, dh will get a big tray of chicken breasts from the meat van _pale_ thats the nearest I could find to makes me feel sick :D

I was glad Diversity won BGT last night, they were,nt my favourites ( Stavros and Julian) but they were better than SuBo who was starting to get on my nerves, also I think they are a really good roll model for youngsters.

Hope everyone has a lovely day today x

bz those cars are gorgeous. sounds like a good deal too. 15 and 8 trips between house and etc? or 15 and 8 people? actually people would make more sense thats what you meant right?

sue have a good time out and about today.

its already really hot, think im going to have to hoke my fan out form where ever i hid it last time it was needed a few years ago.
  • bz, those cars are stunning - go for it!! Good to know you're gonna check all is legit first though.

sue I was having a nose on ebay lasty night at fabric and they sell blackout lining fabric for your existig curtains - v cheap too. If you can't find it on there, let me know and I'll find a link for you.
Hope you find lots of bargains at the market - don't forget the sunblock.

pcl I refused to buy a fan for years on the ground that we live in BRITAIN!! I caved and got one a couple of years ago too. It's been quite windy here, so I haven't needed it yet.

I'm a bit of a fresh air freak anyway and always have windows open. My bedroom window is wide open all year round or I can't sleep at all. But then I have a lovely warm, snuggly duvet.
Have a good day all and don't overdo it.

Sorry! 15miles!! 15 miles between house and church. 8 miles between church and venue. Doh!

Never got up in time for church. Nephew was up and down all night. We're on the way to hospital now to see mil2b and then take nephew back... catch you later.

BZ the cars are stunning. You're going to have a beautiful day :T

Suep, I was praying for the Flatleys to win. They were so funny :rotfl: I actually thought Flawless were the better of the groups but Diversity did their own choreography and I don't know about Flawless so maybe that gave them the edge.

Pcl, I also used to refuse to have a fan until that really hot summer 4-5 years ago and you couldn't get a fan for love nor money and I thought I was going to slowly cook to death!! I got one the following spring before anybody had the chance to swipe em all but only used it that summer cos I then moved to Ireland.

Don't you just love that saying "for love nor money"? I wonder where it comes from? It reminds me of the oldest womens proffession......I wonder if that's where it originates???
