Evening,
Thanks to CWTA and BZ for the advice on h&s at work & sick note, didn't know that and obviously boss didn't say anything. Spoke to docs ecg and x-rays clear so now have to have heart scan and that test where you blow into a tube (hopefully won't pass out doing it)if they are clear looking like me/cfs
Not much else to say at moment, apart from why are WII's so adictive not had it long but can't put it down0 -

I got a wii recently too and I have to be upstairs if I've any chance of resisting it's pull! And atm I just don't have the energy to play on it. Try Boom Blox - you'll never leave it alone!"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Thats brilliant BZ thanks for sending it in :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:Thanks for sending it in!!!!!
What was that programme called with Morph and Tony Hart??
Sorry suep, it just sounded in my head like you were a presenter on tv............it tickled me anyway
I'm gonna get that bz, it might get ds1 off guitar hero for a bit. She came to visit me the other day and spent four hours on the thing getting rather wound up with herself and trying to get it perfect. Don't know where she gets her competetive streak from :whistle:0 -
Right then you lot!!!
After eating a beef spread and salad cream sandwich, two plates of southern fried wedges and a handful of Guylan chocolates, totally negating any effect my diet may have had this week, I decided to be pro-active!
I thought it might be a good idea to have our own forum type thingy. Not to take away from this thread but just so we could chat privately without running the risk of breaking board rules. Or even so we can share things like photo's without everyone and his dad being able to see them. I think there is even a facility for a chat room on the one I've seen.
What do you guys reckon?

Hello gone4gold. You are welcome here and we do occasionally discuss all things fibro-related, just not often now!
I'm up early today (which suits me):D. I have nagging back pain (which doesn't). But I need to make up for a couple of inactive days and can have a nap later if I want. First lot of washing is already in! Carry on like this and I'll have to change me name to raeh
kass, beef spread and salad cream is wrong (diddly -bz). You know it is. It contains not one of the major food groups, so you obviously needed the additions. I was good and had veggie sushi for lunch, stir fry for dinner and then 5 mini praline easter eggs *tut*
raeh. :rotfl:at the Tula purse! I actually found something very similar to a Tula one in TK Maxx - lovely leather and less than £10!
I may have to treat myself to some matching crockery though - I still have a mismatched assortment and I also have a £10 M&S voucher [STRIKE]burning a hole in my pocket[/STRIKE] to put towards it. 20% off at the mo too.
lw, I hope the dog is locked in the back of his kennel now and that you're feeling a little more settled.
I sorted out some cd's during the week and came across Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Holsts Planet Suite and a couple of Requiem Masses
Some are very soothing, but not enough to give me a kick up the arris and get moving.
p.s. raeh, I've found some of the Aerosmith CDs for you - just gotta find the coupla discs that are missing from the cases nowI must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
*drools* salad cream (and nothing else) sarnies are the best.
i think it was smart, only arty/crafty thing i watched and was only for morph because i loved him.0 -
Okay folks, stand by for a deluge of posts while I catch up.s/e *blushes* I havent made an appointment, im just dreading going again as im always made to feel a fraud
with the tests not showing anything conclusive i know it will just be a case of what can we do
'just' fibro and carry on as you are!
Rae - I do understand, honestly I do, but didn't your last lot of tests show some abnormalities? If you don't go back to see your GP she won't be able to investigate further.
How do you know that you're not now becoming more symptomatic of something that is just starting to show in your bloods (sorry, convuluted sentence there, I'm still not properly awake)? Not that I want to worry you, but it's always possible that you've (or anyone) has been mid-diagnosed. I certainly was - more than once. I was diagnosed with having ME for years - 'cept according to my now Rheumy (and it took 3 referrals before I got to see a Rheumy cos I was always sent for X-rays first and because there was no visible joint damage they didn't bother investigating further), ME doesn't present with the level of abnormal blood tests that I was having.
And you are not a fraud! All that's happened is that your doc has yet to get to the bottom of it! If she makes you feel that bad, is there any chance of changing docs? Yes, I know that's always easier said than done, but you do have the right to see a different doc if there's no way you can develop a 'therapeutic relationship' with the one you're seeing now.s/e0 -
Careful_with_that_Axe wrote: »raeh OK, not properly awake yet, but couldn't not post. We know you're scared, that's why we keep nudging you to go. Every doc I saw when I had dodgy blood results took the view that, OK, there's something going on, but it's not obvious what it is, so we'll do some more tests, even just to be able to rule things out.
Don't forget, they become docs not juts to care for people, but for the thrill of the chase! Most GPs love the chance to give their diagnostic skills an outing!
If you weren't so bleedin far away, I would come with you to hold your hand. It's bloomin inconsiderate of you really *g*s/e0 -
