I was trying to decide whether to keep my fake Ugg Boots - they're smelling terrible as they're synthetic. The decision has been made for me by me dropping the remains of my fish and chips, complete with Tomato Ketchup, over them *sigh*I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0

meemee, at least with the tests, you'll know what it's NOT iyswim.
Good to hear you're feeling a bit better. Make sure you get paid for today too!! And with my H&S hat on, the boss shouldn't have accepted you back until you were signed off as being fit for work as he would not be covered by his insurance if anything happened to you.

morning people, you have been quiet tonight, hopefully that means you are all sleeping well and not that you are all still feeling crap.0

Morning all
It's a horrid grey, misty day with the sort of drizzle that soaks you without actually raining on you, so I'm staying indoors.
pcl, it's only so quiet coz big [STRIKE]mouth[/STRIKE] zippy is hopefully resting
raeh, unity, kass, and all others missing in action - hope you're OK.
sharon hope you are feeling OK and that there aren't too many side effects from the bone building meds - are they an IV like chemo, or tabs or an enema!:D
House Fairy is due this afternoon and then out for an early dinner. Am I the only one who gets a bit panicky/overwhelmed when I have two or three things like that in one day?!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
morning, Im really tired and have bad brain fog today. I wasn't going to post, but it's so quiet and I couldn't leave cwta all on her own.
It's still dry here at the moment, but rains forecast later which means I wont have to water my pots tonight
I hope everyones ok and not doing too much, Im going to have an early lunch and a nap I think, then I might wake up a bit more this afternoonReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

nope i get like that too, so much so that i really try and avoid having more than one thing in one day if at all possible.
its been chucking it down here all morning too.0 -
Hi all *waves feebly*.
Suep I wasn't going to post today, either, feeling totally and utterly carp, fed up, depressed, miserable.
But nature abhors a vacuum, so if BZ is doing the sensible thing and resting, it's up to us to fill the gap.
Meemee eliminating what it's not is a start. Fingers crossed for you, hope you get all your results back swiftly.
Weather-wise, we had a couple of almighty thunder-claps this morning - I thought the bedroom window was going to break! It's gone quiet now, though, just dull and miserable, so having to dry the towels I put on to wash last night on the A-frame over the bath.
CwtA I panic if I have more than one thing scheduled on any one day, too. I always worry that I'm going to run out of spoons before I get to the last item on the list. Oh yes, while I think about it, a good mantra for moving house:
If In Doubt, Turf It Out.
It's always worked for me....:pIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Awww lw have a loverly big 'ug from me to make you feel better. Wassup? Nothing in particular and everything in general?
I'm gonna be ruthless this time when I pack and today the task is to go through and cull PJs etc. I used to find it really traumatic throwing things - a hang up from the days when I was really skint and wouldn't be able to replace anything I threw away. I find it quite cathartic now - a clean slate sortta thang *g*
Have an extra 'ug too.
sue you are too kind - it was getting a little echoey in here, but then I'm used to talking to myself.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Thanks CwtA, big 'ug gratefully accepted. I always get really down at this time of year, I'll be OK once we get Monday out of the way. It's worse at the mo also, as I had Mr LW home for four whole days, and the place is 'orribly empty now he's back at work. Not to worry, I've got through this before, I'll get through it this time as well.:o
I think with turfing out, you have to ask yourself if you've actually used/worn the item in the last 2 years. If not, seriously consider getting rid. Unless it's of sentimental value, or something like that, of course. I still have Penny-Dog's collar, f'r instance.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
