Can you haggle about the rent careful? With the ways things are now there is plenty out there and prices have come down. I have noticed a few still trying it on to get higher prices.

I might join bz, at the docs. My ribs feel really bruised from coughing and last time I left it I ended up with fluid on my lungs and doc completely astonished that I'd left it so long considering how bad I was. I think we just get used to feeling bad, don't we.

Trialia, do you have anyone who lives in the doc's area that you can use the address of iyswim?

I used my dads when I moved cos I really didn't want to move doctors. He said the main point of it was they wouldn't come out on an emergency appointment to someone outside their area. I can see his point. You could move miles away and they could end up with people all over the county I suppose.

Isn't saliva the greatest thing you can use to heal? How can they say it's a dirty place! That's why animals lick their wounds.

Hi everyone! Can't be bothered with emoticons today. Feel too much like what's in Charlie's litter box *g*

ill keep my fingers crossed it is suitable careful. a stable secure place to live is needed, not having one suitable just adds a whole heap more stress and uncertainity which is not needed. its made such a difference for me knowing that i wont have to move again until i choose to.

seaside bet that means you try not to take it and suffer more before giving in? good to see you up again.

kass that doesnt sound good. its last day for docs before tuesday today so try and get an appointment today before it gets worse?

    Hi all.

I hope everyone's feeling better today - looks like lots of people were feeling pooey last night.

Trialia did you manage to get to the GP?

Kass I've been looking at the pics of Charlie - what a little sweetheart. I hope he'll be OK; he's got the best chance now he's with someone who cares about him I think.

    BZ
well done on banking the cheques.

Mr LW came home with one of those Lindt chocolate bunnies yesterday. Seems that the Big Boss bought one each for the workforce. Never heard of a boss doing that before, but I'm not complaining!;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Ahhh, lw, so you're the workforce, eh? *g*
sharon, I'm trying not to be a wuss *g* Hope you have a good time with your visitor.
Now for the ironing, although I might demand some of the Lindt bunny as a reward.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Mouth is a dirty place, but your piercing is healed, eh? Is the bar a one piece? What about taking it out for an hour or so every day and sterilising it Milton Fluid or sommat?
I do hope that this course of antiflybotics gets on top of it this time so you can start to feel "well". Maybe get hold of some rehydration stuff too?
Hope you get some decent sleep tonight too and don't worry too much about the invites; you still have time on your side.

If I've told everyone what I think they ought to be doing, then my work here is done and it's time for bed :D
:rotfl:My thoughts exactly...only I usually only get to boss DF and Mil2b about :D apart from when I slip a sly comment in here unnoticed of course ;)

My pierced hole is healed, with no sign of infection or other unhappiness, the bar is a one piece and I probably should sterilise it more often than I do, but I usually brush it along with my teeth iyswim? I put it back in last night after about 36hrs of having it out, and I don't have any issues (that I didn't have with it out) today so I'm (as I have been throughout) 99% convinced it's nothing to do with the bar and never has been. I remember the tonsilitis that started this whole process off (two years ago) making my mouth so uncomfortable that I'd taken it out for a few days, so it's not unusual, to me it's just like taking a necklace off when your neck glands are raised and uncomfortable...

I'm no so dehydrated that I need to take extra measures, other than drinking more o' course, I just sort of forget to do it and then wonder why my lips and skin are so dry and my tongue swells up ;) I hope the anti-robotics do the trick this time too, I'm getting sick of taking them now tbh and I'm paranoid about them setting off another nasty bout of the T-word *shudder* But the aforementioned beginning bout of tonsilitis hung around for 4months and that long of antibiotics is not funny. Luckily my system hadn't heard of the T-word (*shudder*) back then, else I would NOT've been a happy bunny!

I went to bed without looking at the invites again. I figured I have DF home all weekend and tomorrow was another day. Plus I was so dog-tired I would've just had a paddy cos I couldn't've done whatever I wanted with them anyway  Instead I curled up in bed with another (teenager aimed) book and was asleep about 3.30am :j waking up (apart from to boot DF outta bed to go to work ;)) at about 2pm. Hopefully that sleep will've done me "the power of good" (that phrase always makes me grin for some reason?) and I can start mending...

Thanks for the concern guys, btw, most appreciated. :o

Tria I hope your weird abdo pains cease and desist and the migraine boogers off and you are fit and healthy and on form (as we ever are! ;)) for the "gig" tomorrow ;) Hope you managed to get an appt and don't forget to let us [STRIKE]nosey[/STRIKE] interested gets know how it goes. I have to agree with the others in that at least if you know what's up with the abdo pains you can deal with it - whether it be antispasmodics or a slightly different diet. It's unreal what IBS pain can be like, but of course we're not docs and you need the possibilities ruling out. Btw what's "HWB" to those not in the know? Oh and the practice area thing wouldn't bother me too much for the moment, but Kass (I think it was) probably has a good point about the emergency doc thing and now she's rattled my birdcage memory I seem to recall being told something similar. Having said that I lived in Salford with GP in my hometown (13miles away) and viceversa for quite a while before I sorted it out...

Sharon and Seaside nice to see you, to see you nice, to coin a phrase ;)

Kass hope you have fun with your niece and your "baby" today and that she doesn't squish him too much with love ;)

Cwta I'm very glad you've now done something about the water bill malarky and you should be able to start relaxing about it. I'm also v proud of you for ringing about the house. Just as an aside thought, being a fellow IBS sufferer with rather limited energy, have you thought about the positioning of bathrooms within houses and whether it would be an issue for you...? Just asking as the main reason we plumped for a house like this was cos I was so unmoving about the need of a toilet downstairs too. I'm with Kass (who seems to be making far too much sense today! ;)) on the haggling about the rent - I got £50pcm off by dangling a 2year lease infront of them - and as you want your stability then I'm sure a 2yr lease would suit you down to the ground. :)

My thoughts exonkly. Can't be that dirty if...no nevermind. ;)
Get yoursen' t'docs lass! You're clearly not on form and any cough that makes your ribs ache is not something to be ignored. *Stern face* So be told. :D

That's what I thought! :rotfl: Enjoy your egg LW ;)

Hi anyone I've missed out...I realised the other day I'd missed S/e and she's not posted since, so I'm sure it's all my fault and she's truly offended... ;)
