A few months' ago I would have agreed with you, but they've gorn and 'improved' the recipe recently and now it's just Gross (minus the man).

    Hahaha! :rotfl:

It's the same with crusha milkshake syrup. No way the same as it used to be!

seaside, I'm sorry for laughing at you. Oh, you didn't hear me? Ermmm, I didn't laugh really

I once fell and broke my nose, blacked my eyes and had a graze all the way from my chin to my forehead! I had consumed a bit too much alcohol and didn't put my hands out to stop myself. We were doing Monday Club (don't know if that's just a Leeds/Northern thing?) so I didn't let it spoil my night and carried on to the next pub. Went to the hospital early hours of the morning when my (ahem) "pain relief" ran out and met a guy who used to be in Curiosity Killed the Cat :j His girlfriend had run him over! Ended up going out with him the following week and my sister brought her album with her to compare the pictures cos she didn't believe me.

How's that for a freaky random story? :rotfl:

    sharon that pie sounds gorgeous!

Now can somebody pm me when you've finished talking about food
  • lw, I'm sorry, I forgot to wish you luck for the Quiz night - I know you were feeling stressed about it. Did you go to pick up the collection?
Brave lass for going. Coming 2nd is impressive as is raising £60!
You make me larff with the bz/Narnia thing and I suspect it's based in fact - do you think MIL2B is the ice queen? *g*

seaside, nice to see you again even if it is peering over at you lying on the floor wondering what you're doing there.
If you start to fall too often, try to think of something useful you can do when you're down there *g*.

jo, good luck with the medical tomorrow.

s/e, so annoying! Like when they discontinue something you buy regularly as "there's no demand for it".

House Fairy has been and done a wonderful job and we had a few giggles along the way.

Hi all, Ive had a lazy day, didnt wake up until 10, Im usually up when dh and dd get up for work at 7, I only woke up then because of a pain in my hip, I feel bruised like someones been kicking me all over so Ive spent most of the day lying on the sofa huddled under a blanket reading my latest book.

Kass I remember him, wasn't his name Ben Vol something or other ? he was lush, Im so jealous, did you get to snog him ?

Im a bit brain dead and only really came on to catch up and say hi

O/h is jumping up and down in excitment trying to get tickets for the Reading festival at 7.00pm , I might let him use the laptop as its faster, but he will have to wash the kitchen floor for me first ;)

ok my blood tests... not a lot to say really so il keep it brief to stop you all dropping off this early. I only managed to speak to the jobsworth receptionist, who you would think it costs her personally each time she allows an appointment or gives any info out  I need to go and speak to the gp when i get around to it but like last time, nothing is quite normal - yep thats me to a tee - but nothing shows enough to show a problem?? does that make sense? so its business as usual :)

ok i think i need a night of putting effort into competitions as im going to miss a few days *wails loudly* do you know i really dont know what i shall do  , it will be like the weekend we had a powercut and had to sit and talk by candle light :rotfl:

Makes sense to me Rae - I also went through many years when my blood tests weren't quite normal, but weren't abnormal enough to point to anything specific.

Meanwhile, I don't think you're a miserable bint - I think you're run down and overdoing things, not giving yourself enough time to recover from your exertions and that's what's making you 'miserable'. Trust me on this. I bet more people agree with me than agree with you. :p

Only 'cos we're worried about you.

Oh, and please make that appointment with the GP sooner rather than 'when you get around to it'. Your health is important. Please don't wait 'til your body gives up on you completely before you start listening to it. It's trying to tell you something now. ;)
