    Hi Wutus
Hope your well, and how frustrating for you.

However, I would still write to the ones that sold you this in the first place and see what they come back with, if anything they should enclose address details of the other company on whom your trying to contact, if so you write to them ( a bit of a pain I know), but if they don't get back to you by 8 weeks you are still entitled to take them to the financial ombudsman service (FOS), so basically if they ignore your letters the FOS would take over this for you.

Or another way is, to ask the FOS to write to them on your behalf, its unlikely they will ignore them, give the FOS a call this coming week if you want to explain your situation and request they write on your behalf, or of course when you have the address details if the Woowich do not take responsibility then.;)
    Thanks Di
I will take your advice with the fos ( think I may be on first name terms with them now) thanks agin I will keep you posted

as you are claiming mis selling then you should be refunded everything, so I'm really not sure why the issue of the refund has been brought into it a claim for mis selling of a PPI

they say they checked my agreement and i signed and accepted the t&c but say they are not satisfied that the sale of ppi met there standards thats why they are refunding me. is that a way of admitting miss selling without saying it

yes, you need to go back and tell them you will not accept anything but them putting you back to the position you were in as if you'de never had the ppi and you want 8% statutory interest paying against each and every premium paid ! If they play hardball take your complaint for mis selling to the Financial Ombudsman and start a complaint against the insurance underwriters for the low rebate - this is complaint would be for an unfair contract term which is different to mis selling

it'll be Money Partners - for mis selling it's always the broker / company who 'sold' you the PPI

Does this mean if you win the whole correct amount back through FOS for misselling and 8% statutory interest on top (ie put back into the position as if you never had the PPI) then you can also make another complaint as well against the insurer for the unfair rebate?? Wouldn't the two be usually included in the one for misselling??

That is good lucieloo as this would be able to go to FOS if they do not uphold it and yes, it it Freedom you write to.;)
