You're not waffling Dialysis, you are just worried and stressed. Glad its helped a little. It is confusing how these companies are allowed to work and get away with it. Things need to change.
Thanks hun hopefully our petition will be the start of things changing and stop these companies getting away with it. You know they say moving house knocks 5 years of your life thats 10 years of mine gone in a month. To get me out of this house they will have to prise my knuckles of the door frame lol;)

They do have our claims as they have said they are priority we received a claim form from the fscs shortly after the Fos wrote and told us that Picture were in financial difficulty. This we sent back in August 2008. All the paperwork that the FOS had was sent to the fscs. Hopefully beaniebabe we havent heard cos they have everything they need and as you say they are dealing with now, there I am being optimistic now. lol
It seems like you have done everything you can and I am sure they will have all the information they need. ;)
It will get sorted dialysis. Keep chatting to us when things are getting you down. ;) At least we can have a good old moan together ! and you are not a pain, just getting sick of the whole thing like us all. bIG hUG.XX :D

Probably that is what I should be asking yes.
Forgive my ignorance on this but he hears adverts about reclaiming PPI, I just get the paperwork thrust at me and asked if he should have PPI......
I think he was just a bit shocked when he wanted to pay the loan off , thinking there was less than £1000 left but he hadn't taken account of the interest being weighted to the start of the loan and there was still over £4000 left to go. By his calculation he had paid over £1100 on a £10000 loan so it should have been finished by now.
To be honest I think he is starting to struggle with the monthly payments and just wanted to be rid of it.
I would take a look at the reclaiming guide and there are template letters on it. If you feel this was of no use to him then you need to make a complaint about it. There are lots of reasons for missales but sounds like with yours he was probably not covered anyway but you need to first make sure of this. ANother reason for a missale is if the PPI was forced on the loan and he was not given a choice of buying elsewhere or whether he in fact wanted to cover the loan anyway. Perhaps he had other cover.

Here is the link to the guide and if you do write then perhaps doing your own letter from the template in your own words is better and send it recorded delivery as well so you have a proof. You then give the company 8 weeks for a full and final response and if they do not uphold it you should be given the option of going to the FOS.

Hi, I am going to dispute the amount Egg say they owe me, and have requested a breakdown and a SAR (thanks to the help on here!). Two things I am unsure about, they have used the refund to pay off the loan and are sending a cheque for the balance, I thought they had to send the refund? And as they wrote and informed me of this (not an offer, they just did it) and say its case closed, can I write and dispute the amount with them, or do I have to take it to FOS?
