Hi dialysis, I know how hard it is but it must be nearing closure now. Did you keep a copy of the claim form you sent to FSCS. I'm sure you would have opted for the payment to be made to you.
Hang on in therewe are all in this together;);)

Hi,
We are 442 which is high. I guess i was lucky today. They just said that they are looking into our case and would contact us if they needed any more info.
Hope this helps love.
I did sign the back of the claim form with my husband.
Call the FSCS and ask them for a copy.
I got the impression that you will have the choice when you win your claim.
Good luck Hon.

Hi thanks again Di3004 I will download form to FOS. Typically, how long do they take and do you have any advice for filling out the form please?
Thanks in advance
Hi Janey and your welcome.;)
I would enclose a copy of correspondence from Lloyds TSB, and with the form, just write what you can of your version of your complaint.
Basically what you have done with Lloyds TSB, and if your in any financial hardship, also let the FOS know about this as well, and request for Fast tracking.
Unfortunately, due to the large volume of these complaints it can take some time, but as soon as you send this complaint into the FOS, it will be approx 2 weeks of when you should receive the letter from them to confirm they have received your complaint, and that it's in the waiting system to be passed on to the adjudicator, now this can take some time, if they have considered fast tracking it should move on on quicker, but once with the adjudicator, the norm is approx 6 weeks.
However, depending if Lloyds agrees to the decision made by the adjudicator or not, it will depend on that, it may be that of 6 weeks, or longer if Lloyds do not agree, it will be passed on to the ombudsman himself for them to consider, this may also take some time, but hopefully yours will be resolved in the earlier stages such as with the adjudicator.
One of mine had taken 14 months, but it was a complexed case.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi everone,
Had a letter from Deolette. I contacted them because they has spelt my name wrong!
While I was talking to a very nice lady today, i asked her if we were to win our PPI claim, would they pay off our loan to picture(as there is still an outstanding balance) or could we have the compo paid straight to us?
Her answer was, on the back of the FSCS claim for we had a choice in which we could choose either.
So you can either have the compo paid to you or to pay the loan off.
I think that this would apply to everone, but i would still check this info.
Hope i have helped all you loverly people.Especially Diallaysis.
Thank you everone:j
Lian
Any ideas of what I could do would be welcomed
Dialysis Hang in there, It seems your claim is very similar to mine as it was passed from the FOS to FSCS. I really don't think we need to worry too much. It won,t be long now and we can all have a big cyber party!!
I will try and find some info out for them tomorrow in respect of how any refund will be paid to us. I will also e-mail fscs again and keep you informed.0 -
Dialysis
