Hi all, first time on this thread!!

LTSB are looking at my complaint today, well thats what I've been told. Just wondered is the way you calculate ppi refunds the same way that you do for ccards? 8% on each payment x number of years? using the refund calculator on this site?

Thank everyone just wanted to get an accurate figure in mind for when they get back to me.
  • Hi - new to this forum but I have just had an offer to refund PPI payments from Lloyds which is great news. BUT. They want to make the payment to my loan account and the term of the loan will be reduced. Has anyone come across this before and did you manage to get the cash out of them?

The FOS also includes the interest you would have paid in relation to the PPI
    on the card

I'd have a better one if this was sorted:rolleyes:

Gumbi does talk sense though doesn't she. She is being realistic about it all and as she says, at least they have been declared in default as it could have been a lot more difficult for us dealing with them direct.

Think i will amke a cuppa and have a good Scream:mad:
    xx
Hi Busbyh I will have a black coffee with one sugar and a bottle of whisky please lol and can I join in with the scream cos all this waiting is doing my head in:mad:

Pinknico have you heard from deloitte directly or from the fscs about your claim and is it being looked at now, also what number are you?

I have had a letter from Deloitte last Saturday sent on the Thursday saying my claim will be looked at shortly. My number is 45 and my claim didnt go to the FOS.I called Deloitte on Monday and the lady I spoke to did not know much and I got the imppression she wouldnt know anything until someone else updated her when things happened.
She said as soon as they knew we had a claim they would be in touch.

Can someone tell me how long A&L have to respond to the letter from the FOS asking for your files.

Nassie asked me but I could not remember

I think they give them 4 weeks before contacting them again, waiting for files does not hold up your place in a queue for an adjudicator.

HFC have still not sent anything about my complaint to the FOS and the FOS say it will be there bad luck if it comes to the Adjudicator and there is nothing from them as they just take what I have submitted!
