    Hi there.;)

If they are related cases then they may do so, but depends on who's desk it ends on as well.

Saying that my hubby had 2 credit card ppi complaints both with Lloyds tsb and they ended up splitting them, you can always give the fos a ring to check on this one, I'm sure they will be able to tell you once it's gone through, good luck.;)

Thank you soooo much for you reply we do apreciate all the good info that you provide on this forum :D and i only wish that i could return the favour in maybe being able to help you with your queries :D
Do you know where i could maybe get a caculation of what amount of money i am actually fighting for because if they came back to me now with an offer i would not know if its correct or not:o due to the fact that it is a rescheduled loan and one was used to pay the other off and the interest rate went up at that point too and how much of the original ppi amount was added.

    thank you again:D

awe thank you and your welcome.:A

I would write a letter to the business and ask if they would kindly post you the full written breakdown of calculations, ask if they are able to post by 7 days, as you require these details, they should provide them to you because it's your personal information, give it a go.;)

The only other way is to request a Subject access Request (SAR) if you have not done this yet, they have 40 days to comply and to send you eveything requested on the SAR letter, that should also include the calculations of your finance etc.;)
However there is charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this request though, but it maybe worthwhile.
Post the SAR by recorded delivery as well.

    Hope this helps XXX

lol, well I have not got a clue with figures either, but your welcome to post them up if you have not done so yet, and I'm sure someone will take a look at them for you.

However, our Maxdp did also post up some information in how the FOS works out refunds as well this may be an interest to you here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1475553

But do feel free to post your figures up anyway and hopefully someone will be along to take a look at them for you.;)

here goes could someone please look at these figures and take an estimate how much we are looking to get if we are successful with the fos i havnt got a clue how to work it out as the loans were rescheduled and i dont know what should happen thank you.

ORIGINAL LOAN TAKEN OCT 2005 FOR £25,OOO OVER 84 MONTHS AT 7.3%

PLUS THEY ADDED £6655 PPI WITH INTEREST AT 7.04% IS £8530.60

WE PAID THIS FOR A 12 MONTH PERIOD AT £377.82 PER MONTH ON LOAN
    AND £100.58 OFF THE PPI

THEN WE RESHEDULED (OMG LOOKING AT THIS I FEEL STUPID BUT WE WERE DESPERATE)

IN OCT 06 WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE AND THEY NEEDED £23,9OO TO PAY THE OTHER LOAN WHICH GAVE US £1000 CASH AND THAT TOPPED THE LOAN BACK UP TO £24900,

OVER 84 MONTHS AGAIN BUT NOW AT 8.3%

THEY NOW ADDED £6830 FOR PPI AT A RATE OF 7.97% INTEREST TOTALLING £9772.73 (OMG I AM LOOKING AT THIS AND FEELING SOOO STUPID)

WE PAY THIS BACK AT £387.72 PER MONTH ON LOAN
AND £106.36 PER MONTH PPI AND HAVE BEEN DOING SINCE OCT 06 TILL PRESENT DATE

TOTAL COST OF THIS LOAN IS £41,502.72

IF ANYONE CAN DO ANY CALCULATIONS WITH THESE FIGURES I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT:D
