    Hello there;)

I would write to them to request for the CCA (Agreement), and enclose a £1 postal order or cheque payment for this, they should send by post by 12 days.
Make sure though to post by recorded delivery.

    That is a low offer.

So did you try to reclaim the PPI in writing or asked for this verbally?
    Thanks.

When you get the agreement what amount of PPI is on the credit agreement? Also is the PPI amount with interest or without interest added? If this is for a missell then you would want all the PPI and interest charged too back plus 8% statutory interest.

I would wait until you know the amounts and then write a reclaim letter to them. I bet the offer is no where near what they owe you.

Thanks for that. I seem to have got it abit wrong though, ooops!
I took out a loan September 2003 for £2500, then I took refinanced ( More debt!) in December 2003, total debt then owing £3500, then in Feb 2004 took out a £2500, thus owing the bank a total of £6000. I paid off in full July 2004. I called Natwest again today, after thoroughly reading through everything and realised that the amount which they are offering is only for the first loan from September, and the other two refinances are actually classed as separate loans. However, the lady was very helpful and said they she will look into the missold PPI on all of the loans, not just the first one. So i'm guesing that if I was missold PPi on the first loan, the same will apply to second and third. So Fingers crossed. Not sure how much to expect though......

    lol, not a problem.:D;)

They have 8 weeks to resolve this or let you know either way, and of course try to keep everything in writing as well, in case you need to refer to the letters at a later date by keeping copies, good luck.;)

Yes your right, I assume you would have the same reasons for them all.

Here's one for all like myself that are awaiting the FSCS/Picture situationto be resolved:

A reply from my MP after I sent a rarther scatjing email about how long the FSCS legal team were taking and the effect that it's having on real people...

Thank you for your email of 23 June. I completely understand your frustration – indeed anger – over these delays and the financial implications.

I have sent your latest email to the FSCS asking the Chief Executive to take good note of your further comments. I have also, as prompted by your email, sent our correspondence to the Financial Secretary to the Treasury asking for his response to the points you make regarding pursual of repossessions and court judgements for debt whilst the FSCS process drags on.

I hope to be able to write again with further news.

    Yours sincerely

    James Arbuthnot

Some hope for all those having their lives made hell by Picture chasing for money when they owe us all a shed load!!

Diaylsis...might be worth mentioning this to your MP as well..

    Gumbi
Thanks Gumbi I will forward this to my MP you got a really good response from your MP and hopefully it will have some clout Thanks again for all your help and info

If you have not put this into writing, do this now just to cover you.

    Tell them

Thank you for our conversation on (date XX/XX/XXXX) in regards of the reclaiming of the PPI, and I look forward to hearing from you by 8 weeks of this date.

    My reasons are............

There is a template you can use as well, but if you already made contact by phone, hopefully they will be good enough to deal with this by using the correct procedures.
The templates you will find on the link here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

Just make sure you have covered everything and also state about the financial ombudsman service as well.

Oh and mention ALL the loans with PPI, and that your reasons are the same for them all.

    Post by recorded delivery.;)

Seems like they owe you a fair bit more here. As Di says get this in writing though as you need the proof if this has to go to the Ombudsman. I hope it does not though. Good luck

Still waiting patiently for a response from A&L regarding my PPI insurance.

I put the claim in just over 3 weeks ago now and thought I would call today for an update. What a pointless waste of time. I was told "there is no update, you probably won't get a response until the full 8 weeks is up". Nice!

Don't you just love the level of customer service??!! hahahahaha What a joke!
They have had my friends complaint 5 weeks now and today she was told that they hadn't even looked at it.

I have e-mailed the FOS on her behalf. I will let you know when I get a reply

    Be warned people...

The FOS are inundated with complaints at the moment. I submitted mine in May 09 and, after being allocated a file manager and having written to the bank in question, the FOS have now told me it would be at least 3 to 4 months before the case is taken any further, due to sheer weight of numbers of cases.

The banks know this as well and are stringing people along. I have been waiting nearly 6 months for a response from my bank about the blatent PPI misselling they did on me.

Am actually considering court action to speed things up. Has anyone on here taken a bank to court over PPI?

    Hi BigNige,

I have now 2 cases with FOS both been there over a year, be prepared for long wait.... One the went to the Adjudicator in March 09 and was up-held in April 09 and the company loans.co.uk was given til may 14th 09 to refute and submit evidence to account for that. They refuted this 5 weeks after there dead-line and have still not sent evidence to the Adjudicator for him to complete the investigations and the Adjudicator allowed this and is now the Adjudicator is still saying this could take weeks to complete investigations... The way things are going it will be Christmas before I get a decision... The over case as just reach the Adjudicator so that could be 3-4 months if it goes same way as other one.
I have 2 PPI claims all being dealt with by FOS could do with a win. I also have 1 PPI claim with FSCS because company gone bankrupt.
I have claim for bank charges on-hold for 3year

    Good-luck all

Well 6 years from when the account was closed or if still current 6 years. Saying that I had a barclaycard PPI that went through the FOS and they refunded back to 1991.
