    Hi there

I see, shame that, we taken ours out in Nov 2005.

Have you still any paperwork from eloan?
Does it mention anything about the FSA on them?

I didn't get much paperwork from them and i don't remember anything about the FSA on there.

Do you think i should write off to them of the FO?

If the business is not running the Financial ombudsman service are unable to deal with your complaint.

The problem I had was I did write to complain to Eloan and I received the response back from the liquidators that they were no longer running as the company went into liquidation.
I was then told by the FOS to contact the FSCS (Financial compensation scheme) here:
    http://www.fscs.org.uk/contacts/
To ask them for a form to complete.

In-fact I received an email from the FSCS yesterday to inform me they are still currently investigating the company before they confirm them going into default.
Where they will be touch when they have more news.

So if you have not done so yet, contact these.;)

You could request a SAR from the lender, this is known as a Subject Access request, there is a letter template for this on the link here below:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1475553

They have 40 days to comply, but there is a charge of £10 cheque or postal order payment for this request, post by recorded delivery, this may help your case. The lender will supply all the info or should supply all the info requested on the SAR.;)

There is no point me contacting FSCS as my loan was taken out before 14/01/05.

I have contacted the actual lender and they won't send any of the information held on file.

I have someone looking into this and they are talking to ICO as they have breach the DPA 1998.

Seems that anyone who took out a loan through Two Part aka e-loans don't stand a chance getting any help.

I felt like that as well, nowhere else to turn, until learning of the FSCS as all this was new to me, yet I cannot be guaranteed a payout from them.

Blimey did you already request a SAR then with payment?
They should have dealt with this.

I wish you luck with this.;)

  • Evening everone, I have been reading this forum for a while now after getting a letter from A&L offering me money back for my PPI. After that offer (which I accepted!) I applied to Egg about my loan they sold me in December 2004 with PPI even though I was self employed, that was 4 weeks now and today I have noticed that they have cleared my loan! I gave them a quick call and they said it has been paid off with the repayment of my PPI and the excess is in the post, is this normal that they just pay up without responding to a complaint and a letter saying an amount that they are willing to pay as a goodwill gesture?

    Hi there.;)

You are welcome to post them, not sure when Turbo or Marshallka will be here to look at the figures though, hopefully soon, but despite that, in regards of reclaiming, you do not need the figures for the letter at this time, but they will come in handy maybe later on, where I'm sure by then, the figures will be looked at for you.;)

If you need help in regards of reclaiming let us know as there are templates to use as well, but with your own reasons to add.

But the calculations are not required at this point, hope this helps.;)

Sorry I have not the head to work figures out lol X
