    Hi Di and all, hope your all ok on this lovely sunny Thursday, havnt been on for what seems like months but daughter got glandular fever and been very poorly, anyway about barclays, i recieved 2 letters from them saying they were looking into my complaint about the PPI and credit card charges, i have recieved a letter today about the PPI saying that they are still looking into it but to assist them with there investigations they want me to fill out a questionaire and return it. Should i fill it out or not, is this just stalling tactics or am i any nearer to getting the money back?, there is no mention of the charges so should i write yet another letter or wait? so many questions, im sorry for waffling. I have also recieved 4 letters from the FO saying recieved my letters about other companies, cap one, studio and sky so just sit back and wait for them now. I have also recieved a letter from citi saying no to my reclaim, but it wasnt a final response but gave me a leaflet and address of the FO do i go straight to the FO with them or write again. Thanks again for listening and ur help is greatfully recieved. Sarah.:confused:

    Hi Sarah

    So sorry to hear of your daughter, bless her, I do hope she is getting better now, bless her, I send all my love.:A

    You have been very busy.

    I think myself its a stalling tactic in regards of the questionaires, and whether you complete this or not they must still investigate your complaint by the given 8 weeks timescale.

    This is your choice totally hun, if you do not complete this, just let them know in writing that they should already hold the information on you from the time you purchased the finance.
    Good luck.;)

    You have a good lot with the FOS now and I'm sure they will resolve all for you, and yes I would move on to the FOS and keep everything with them now.

    I wish you all the best with everything Sarah and hope to hear from you soon.:AXXX

    Hi Guys
    Wonder if you can help I got a loan for 19925.66 ppi was 7732.75 and interest it ran for 19 months and the settlement figure was 18494.59. They have offered me 2284.20 plus 8% 411.20 does these figures sound right.

    Hi there

    I am really not sure or any good at working out calculations, however, there are a few on here who are, such as Turbo, Marshallka etc, with a bit of luck they will be here soon, but more information maybe required.

    You could contact the company and request a copy of a full written breakdown.

    Anyway, well done.:beer::T:beer:
    And good luck.;)

    Hi Traz can take 12 - 14 months:confused: Others can be seen quicker but I would suggest you think one year and if it happens sooner then that would be good.

    Good Luck to you.

    Hi tiggrae,

    Thanks for replying.

    I don't have details of the discussion with the seller and I don't have details of why I purchased. What I do know is that don't hve them either. Also I know that I would never of taken this out if I knew what PPI was. I also rememenr loosing my job whilist having this loan protection and going into the bank asking if I could not make some payments for a couple of months. but I don't have details of that either.

    What should I do?

    Hi there

    If you've no details, such as the loan agreement etc, you can write to them to request a copy of this by enclosing a £1 cheque or postal order payment, they should supply by 12 days, post by recorded delivery when requesting for this.

    I would write back to them anyway and tell them what you have told us, if this did end up going to the FOS, they will sort this out for you.

    Good luck.;)

    anyways I got a call on tuesday off a guy saying he had be en given my case and he asked me a few questions and I didnt think it sounded good however i got a letter yesterday saying he was a adjudicator and that he has weighed it all up and has attached a copy of what he has sent FP asking for a full settlement plus 8% plus £500 compensation and for them to put us back where we were before the PPI was taken out at no cost to us!! so i am really chuffed just hope that FP pay up now and dont drag it out, He has given FP to the 19th of May to get in touch so am crossing me finger legs and eyes lol

    Hi there

    Hope your well.:A

    WOW, this is fantastic news, Congratulations !
    :beer::T:beer:

    In regards of FP paying straight out I have not got a clue, I'm sure the ones who have had dealings with these through the FOS will let you know.
    However, the FOS say give it a month (approx) and if you do not hear anything then let them know).;)

    Great news this though, well done.:T:T

    :kisses3:Hiya Di am great thanks hope you ok too hun.xx

    aww thanks so much am really buzzing just hope they dont mess about and from what the adjudicator said in our letter, FP have to respond straight to him by the 19th May so think we might hear from the adjudicator rather than FP but am not bothered who gets in touch 1st if I am deffo getting my money back hehe:T

    I am not sure if this is it though or if FP can take it further which am hoping they dont and they just pay out, now they know I mean business lol.xxxxx

    take care hunnie.xxx
