Debt busting and ppi fighting takes it toll especially on the life off screen. As much I as I enjoy chatting to people on here, time just seems to disappear when you on the net doesn't it?OH just doesn't get computers so feel it has been all me since December the start of our ppi fight and it takes its toll; the knockbacks, researching the net for creditors responses for ppi etc
It is very frustrating when you don't read the words you want in creditors letters but I feel lucky with what I have achieved so far with just a few letters. You get really impatient though at times don't you? not good for your health at all getting stressed all the time, eating, sleeping ppi reclaims.
Glad your okay hun.
And yes you are so right, there are times you have to say "its me time" because it can affect us all in one way or another otherwise.
I am the impatient type, but then if we're being messed about what do they expect, we have to really battle our complaints and if they resolve these first time or from the start, then it would not have gone this far, but yes I totally agree with you hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi,
I wonder if you could advise me please? we took out a £6,000 loan with the Post Office five years ago. It's paid off now. But as a regular fan of Martin's website I couldn't remember if we had paid PPI on the loan or not.
I contacted, by post, Bank of Ireland asking for the details of the loan agreement to be sent on.
I received it earlier this week. We had paid PPI on the loan totalling about £800. But my signature is at the end of the document. Therefore is it a good idea I continue? On a secondary note, in the same envelope with my details enclosed I've been sent the hire purchase details belonging to another person ! Help, how do I tackle this. I have this poor man's name and address, his new car details and how much he's paying somebody called Niib Finance. Feel strongly I should just drop the paperwork into an envelope and send it to him which I think I will. However, clearly a big error has been made here don't you think?0 -

Blimey how incompetent are this company ?
I would send back that letter as soon as you can and hope this helps your case lol.
Its not your fault hun, or you could send directly to this person but on the other hand the company need to know how silly they have been here by not being careful with what they were doing.
Right going back to you hun, even if you signed the agreement, you can still have a case, for example on mine I signed because it was never explained to me and I assumed it was all part of the finance etc, and I believe this has been the case for many.
So check this link out here:

There is more info and template letters, add your own reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond and keep on at them until you exhaust their complaint procedures, they should let you know in the final letter, if your not satisfied, on how you can take this matter further, normally with the financial ombudsman service (FOS).
Post all letters by recorded delivery and please let us know how you get on, also post that letter of the other persons by recorded delivery to ensure it gets to them safe.;)

First of all I would like to thank you all each one of you for all your advice. I am so glad I am not the only one having major probs with FP and WF.
Okay after reading all your comments, I firstly wrote back to First Plus advising them that I took the first loan with Loans.co and the advance was thru themselves and also if they didnt investigate this I would be writing a further letter to the FSO. FIngers crossed it works?
Secondly I have just written a 2 page letter to WF and complained about the phone calls and given them specific dates and times also said I had paid this by cash on the due date therefore I do NOT owe them any £20 etc etc and as for the balance I will be asking the FSO to investigate this as I had already spoken to them about my financial situation and change of bank account and that the BOS had arsed up and the Abbey hadnt the new dd details at the time its not my fault they didnt take 2 payments out my account for 2 months is it? Oh I went ballistic lets just say there was steam coming off my keys on the keyboard lol:rotfl: :rotfl:
No son 2m he is staying at his aunties but peace will be truly shattered on Friday when my 2yr old niece comes back with my son hehe fun and games isnt the word!

Silly silly girl and oh dear she wont see a penny of it I fear!
