I put my ppi and another agreement with a certain person that was recomended to me on this site,
Up to press ive had no responce from the geezer for about 6/7 weeks now so wont be bothering with him,
If he cant respond to my emails then ive no chance of gettirn my ppi back have i:eek:
Ill find somebody who's more proffesional in his approach:eek:
Could you please let everyone know who this person is as I have been recommended someone on here & have noticed several other posters have been too.
If this person is providing little or no service, we should know about it before someone loses money or gets tied up in a contract.0 -
I have rang my caseworker at Tesco PF and as of yet they have not received my acceptance letter back from the FOS. I rang the FOS and the have said it is because I have asked for it to be paid into my Tesco savings account, I explained that we were told that this would be OK as we asked our case worker if we could do this, so they are going to send my letter off today. I rang my case worker back and explained what the hold up was and he told me it was easier to pay the money back into a Tesco account than it was to issue a cheque, I told him that the FOS were sending the form off today and he went away and came back to say that it would be paid into my account within a month.
Fingers crossed
PS they will only pay the money into a Tesco account they will not do it with any other bank account0 -
Please feel free to move this if its in the wrong place!!
Sent a letter off to Northern Rock a few weeks ago and received this reply yesterday
-they cant find evidence to suggest misselling but dont want to be in dispute so will refund the PPI premiums
- as DH is in arrears with loan they will use refund of premiums to reduce debt
-they want to set up a new loan without PPI to be paid over 60 months
-remainder of premiums plus interest they will refund to DH once he has signed new credit agreement
DH has DMP with CCCS so cannot set up any new credit agreements and cant afford to increase what he's paying to them until back in employment
- but obviously would like his PPI refunded!!
NR say it is their final decision so should we go straight to the FOS or send NR another letter?
Any help or advice very gratefully received - thanks!:o0 -

Hi Yonny
Everything they are saying would appear to be correct so no problem there. I would check the figures on how it is worked out before you settle and sign the full and final settlement letter. Especially if they have used words like Goodwill Gesture.
As for the DMP may I suggest that you post up on the Bankruptcy Forum because they I am sure will be able to advise you accordingly about the DMP.:mad:0 -

Good afternoon all!
I noticed last week that Cap One have cashed my £10 cheque that I sent with my SAR request, so hopefully not long to wait for that to come through!
Is it just me or is anyone else struggling at the mo? I just seem to be robbing peter to pay paul all the time.......:o((PAYDBX17 #29 £760.19/10000 :j0 -

OK Have just heard from the FOS about a complaint I had with them about three loans I had with one provider. These Loans were not stand alone but were refinanced.
The standard way of working out the refunds were set by the FOS. I have, since earlier last year, been asking for the figures to be explained. My concerns have been that stand alone loans would be worked out differently that re financed Loans.
Anyway I understand that my case has now gone to the Ombudsman they are now considering whether they alter the ways that they are guiding the lenders to refinance the PPI's. There have also been other complaints gone in which have been similar.
Am pleased that this is getting sorted one way or the other. Fingers crossed anyway.:mad:0 -
