  • Hi forum,
I originally sent my claim to beneficial finance on 17th January and received a letter 2 weeks later to tell me they had received the complaint and that it was being dealt with by the central complaints department. I have received a letter today dated the 17th February saying that at the present time they have been unable to resolve my complaint and the investigation is yet to be completed. They have requested my patience for a further 28 days to resolve the complaint.

What should I do with regard to agreeing or not agreeing to a further 28 days. Will it be 28 days or 28 working days?

Thank you for any advice you give.

You don't have much choice Blackpoolguy79 :( You have to let the bank investigate and come to a decision BEFORE you can approach the FOS.
If you lose patience now and send it to FOS you will delay it by 328 days never mind 28 :(
Hang tight, hopefully you will get redress without having to FOS it ;) Beneficial don't appear to be the quickest but let them do what they have to
    Successes
    Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid :)
    MBNA £3,600 Paid :)

Hi, Dilus is right, hang lose and hopefully they will respond, do remember these crooks are playing "delaying tactics" so don;t give them an inch to play with.

CROOKS I SAY ...... the news today saying that the total so far is £9billion that banks owe us,

    CROOKS ? DEAD RIGHT

CAPITAL ONE .... they steal your money ... FRAUD ... and then they play games ?

They say they offer a credit card that will put your credit rating back in order, then ...... if you have a problem, they blacklist you on your credit score

CAPITAL ONE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND YOU ARE ADVISED TO NEVER DEAL WITH THEM

Stephen Hester on the BBC Oneshow tonight 7pm

    INTERVIEWER Robert Peston

This was clearly a publicity stunt on behalf of the RBS

The fact is that Stephen Hester is the CEO of the RBS, a bank who committed MAJOR FRAUD mis-selling PPI insurance

THIS MAN IS ACCOUNTABLE TO CONSUMERS FOR FRAUD
    Stephen-Hester-007.jpg

Sooner or later we will have the RBS and all other banks in court for FRAUD
