Hi amersall sorry i've just switched my computer, on i assume it's the cap 1 posts you want me to comment on, i had exactly the same response from them, i think cap 1 send an automated response out and as you know they reject a lot of cases. The ombudsman is a route as such but i do think it depends which adjudicator you get, i got mine sorted in the end going through the actual ombudsman as the adjudicator rejected the case it's worth pursuing through the ombudsman in any case, i hope i've answered your query, anything else or anything specific you wanted to know that i've missed send me another post lovely.
Thanks for that xx0 -

If anymore apply to you then let them know.
They will still look at the complaint, and you may win redress, but to be on the safe side see if anymore reasons apply to you.0 -
Hi, after reading lots of the posts on here i decided to put in a PPI mis-selling case against Natwest for a loan going back to 1993, sent off my SAR and the cheque for £10. 40 days have passed and I've received nothing, and the cheque hasn't been cashed, I have proof the letter was received under the tracking service for royal mail, but don't know whether to send another letter and give them another 40 days. If anyone can advise me i'd be grateful. RBS/Natwest won't talk to me unless I can give account details. Don't know what to do next.
Update - I decided to wait a few more days and low and behold got a letter today saying that even though I had provided account details etc.etc on my letters RBS couldn't find me on the system. As they had put a contact telephone number on top of the letter I called and after quoting some of the 'phrases' from this forum, I've been found, credit cards, loans and all!!!! The downer - they can't guarantee when they will be able to sent the info out to me. Patience really is a virtue when trying to claim back mis-sold PPI!!!!0 -
Quick question -
Sent a letter to Natwest asking for the information under section 77 of the CCA with regards to my loans and I have just received a letter back from them saying that as the loans have ended they have no obligation to provide the information I requested.
I don't have the reference numbers for the loans as they were paid off in June 2006 - can I still send them a PPI claim form without the policy numbers??
Help!!!0 -
