Hi
Just wanting some help. I'm trying to reclaim PPI from Littlewoods and I have requested my original credit agreement from them and they send me a plain unsigned credit agreement for me to sign and return to them so after ringing them i find out that they don't have any signed credit agreement from me on there records. I'm just not sure where i stand now and if this gives me a good case or not. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

What a strange story ? One must therefore assume as they do not have the credit agreement, they also do not have details on the PPI and if you have been paying the PPI, THEN you can challenge them, if they cannot prove you agreed to the PPI, DEMAND ALL PAYMENTS BACK PLUS INTEREST.
It's Littlewoods problem, not yours to prove otherwise0 -
Thanks for this beamerguy, off to type a nice letter up to Littlewoods. When i spoke to them they all so reduced my credit rating and stopped my account, which is fine just making me more determined to fight them.

It is amazing how stupid these banks are, fully prepared to get a bad name. I do not think the court ruling allowed a bank to punish you or be vindictive.
Littlewoods Loans (Bank Of Scotland)
Well people you now know what happens if you deal with Littlewoods ??

A QUICK CHECK LIST.
MAKE YOUR CLAIM NOW
*Did YOUR BANK explain the full cost of the PPI when you took out the loan?
*Did you specifically ask YOUR BANK for PPI?
*Did YOUR BANK make clear that PPI was optional?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about your medical history?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about any existing payment cover?
*Did you know that YOUR BANK added a PPI policy to your loan?
*Do you think YOUR BANK treated you fairly?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you have any existing medical conditions?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you were entitled to sick pay from your employer? If you answered no to any one of the above you could be owed thousands of pounds

Hi there
I wonder if anyone can help me with starting a PPI claim. I took a five-year graduate loan from HSBC in approximately 2004/2005 (I’m afraid I can’t remember the exact date). At the time, they persuaded me to take out life insurance, although I didn’t really want to have it, and I think they may have added PPI too.
I was able to pay the loan back early in 2006/7, but as I’ve moved house three times since then and no longer have the paperwork for the agreement, I used the MSE template letter to request a copy of the credit agreement, terms and conditions under sections 77−79 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. I enclosed a cheque for £1, as recommended.
I have since received the cheque back from HSBC together with a letter stating that as the loan account is now closed, they have no obligation to send me anything under sections 77-79 of the CCA. According to this site, I understood that I was able to claim for any account, as long as it was still active within the last six years.
Can anyone please let me know if HSBC are fobbing me off, or if there is another letter I should send them which refers to other sections of the CCA?
I hope someone can help. Thanks.0 -

As far as I understand you have to send £10 and a SAR letter, this should suffice and they should provide the information to you, perhaps someone else on the forum will clarifyMember & fundraiser for Meningitis Research Foundation0 -
Hi,
Looking for advice, I have had 2 loans with Sainsyburys (HBOS)
loan 1 taken out in March 2004, loan 2 refinanced this loan in December 2004. I complained about loan 2 which I finished paying in 2009.
Accepted their offer in September after waiting 15 weeks and finally got calculations from HBOS about loan 2 after waiting over 9 weeks for them, however it seems they have only investigated one loan, no mention of loan taken out in March 2004. I know it may be partly my fault for only giving them agreement number for last loan, but I thought the FSA had guidelines requiring them to investigate everything.
Also their letter stated that as part of their offer it would consider any other loans that were refinanced by this loan etc etc.
To date I have never received any correspondence about loan 1 ie whether they were upholding or declining my complaint.
I queried this today and was told that they would email relevant team, however don't know how long this will take.
I feel they have been remiss about this as they have had more than adequate time to investigate!
My question is should I complain to the powers that be, to try and speed things up?
I don't even know if this complaint will be upheld or not, but don't see why I should wait even longer, because they have been complacent.
What do you think?
