Hi beamerguy, I have also sent off a claim to m&s regarding missold ppi. I've had their bog standard we are investigation letter and will be in touch in 12 weeks. I too signed up in store many years ago when I too was young and foolish, so not expecting much of a response. I have also asked them to look into a loan I had, any info or help will be appreciated!

Good luck MagP - your situation is exactly the same as mine, I think.

    Hi All,

A few months ago I decided to look into my 3 loans I had with Natwest many years ago. I had no paperwork documentation but after doing a SAR and formally complaining last week I got just shy of £2800 bakc in PPI!!! Thanks to everyone on here who helped. I really had no idea I had PPI so to anyone thinking the same would def recommend giving it a go!!!

How long does Lloyds take to send cheques???

    GOOD QUESTION?

Lloyds are a bank in crisis, huge losses, no leader (he went off sick), nobody knows if they have enough money, staff rude, staff not helpful.
Lloyds bank has turned itself into a "mickey mouse" operation.

All you can do is chase them daily until they pay you

Nope def don't have an estate and they didn't act as guarantor.. grrr cheeky things.. I wouldn't have chosen to have PPI's if I didn't feel I wouldn't have got the loan without it. I should have done this sooner!

    Thanks

    x

Just think of it as extra money gaining interest as they'll have to pay you the 8% interest on each payment from when it was taken from you, you dont get 8% in any bank, so you'll be up, remember though you'll have to pay income tax on the 8% you get from the lender, most leave it up to you to contact the tax man once you get your refund.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
  • Hello, Can anyone help me please
I had a 5 year loan which finished in 2006. It was with a company called Woodchester Finance. I suspect I was sold insurance with this loan but cannot contact them to find out. They are not at the offices they were at back in 2001 when i took out the loan. I have no bank statements going back to 2006 to see what the account number was. Has anybody any advice as to how I can move this forward. I would be very grateful.
    Thank you

Fom a Google search, Woodchester Finance seem to be in Eire and are apart of GE Money, where are you from
