HI AZZA082, could you please let us know if and when you get the payment, I have heard today that they are only just paying those who got final offer letters in August, so looks like they are currently running at up to 17 weeks behind their confirmation letters ..... Thanks in advance.

Just to confirm we had confirmation letter dated 4th October, and we still haven't had anything else, but know we will be getting a recalculation letter. If the payments are running up to 17 weeks after confirmation letters, then we are looking at payment maybe March?? And that of course depends on how much time they spend sending out recalculation letters, because they are having to recalculate and send out letters to confirm new amounts.

Also, am I correct in understanding that some payments are being made in two payments????

Not having time to read the whole of this thread, has the possibility of a petition to someone like, for example, the FSA, been covered??

got my letter of confermation on 13 september from barclays said they would pay out within 40 days guess what still waiting phoned up today cant tell me when i will get paid told i would have to wait my turn could be today tomorrow or next year wont hold my breath then anyone got paid off barclays yet

All this confirms the fears of most, Barclays Bank do not have the funds to repay everybody. You need to complain to the FOS

Lloyds Bank like most are delaying everything, they made a huge loss so they are dragging their heals. Issue a severe complaint to the FOS and to Tom Tookey who is acting CEO of Lloyds Bank.

The problem is that the FSA are showing themselves as an authority without a good portfolio, in other words they are useless
