Annoying isnt it and it does not make sense that they do this all the wrong way round?
There is a certain amount of time you can hold on to your cheque before banking it and because of they way they are dealing with it, if there is a shortfall where they've underpaid they should send you the remainder to follow afterwards, I think that is only fair, so you know you can just put your cheque into your account.
I would ask again and if they can't give you a timescale, contact the FSA, good luck.;):beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

The address at the bottom of the statement is First National Tricity Finance, Agar Street, London but Im having no luck tracing them. It definitely shows ppi and I would love to claim it back so ANY help at all would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.:)
Hi and welcome
What you could do - if your unable to locate them, is contact the FOS and I'm sure they should know, if they are no longer active, they may suggest another avenue, for example, if the business are dissolved they may be listed with the Financial Compensation scheme (FSCS), and if they were regulated by the FSA at the time you taken out the account you can make a reclaim through them, otherwise the FOS may suggest the underwriter/insurer of the policy as another way of trying to get your money back to you, good luck.

Hi Cappo. I was informed during a conversation that AXA were the insurers but I had no knowledge of this prior to that conversation and heave never had any paperwork from them so I am considering calling them to to see if they have heard of me.0
