  • hello

i sent Black Horse my claim letter and they obviously rejected it. I then sent my second letter but have not had a reply.

I decided to send them the letter again with a cover note but again no reply.

Its been about 12 weeks since i sent the 2nd reply.

the letter i did have said they didnt think i was misold ppi and that i couldnt go to the FOS as they werent regulated by them at the time.

Will I ever hear from them again and what do you think my next step is?

    much appreciated

Hi blakey they are slippery customers they've lied to me as well big time, contact the fos and see what they say.
  • Can anyone tell me if PPI refund claims on mortgages are successful?

I had PPI on a C&G (Lloyds) Mortgage and I am wanting to claim it all back!

They are only likely to be successful if:
    1. You complain to whoever sold it to you (a lot of C&G loans and PPI were sold by mortgage brokers, not the lender)
    2. It was actually missold - most mortgage PPI was not.

Nice to meet ya mate im mark, I for some reason dont think Mint will pay me back I sent an original letter in 2007 regarding the ppi, they didnt reply however the numpty I called told me to send it to enfield, this time I found the address on internet and I got a reply saying they looking into I borrowed £5000 over 5 years total payback was £7500 with interest at something stupid like 19% and my insurance was just over £1000
