Hi beamerguy,
I realise you are on a quest here to force their hand but if it helps I have an original of the policy that St Andrews allowed Sainsbury's to sell on their behalf. Admittedly it is not from St Andrews in Southern Ireland but from the UK branch and as Sainsbury's were in effect BOS that makes them part of Lloyds so would be the same policy. I could copy and send if you like, dilus
Hi dilus, that sounds good, I suspect they are different policies but I need to check that, PM your email addy, I will return my email addy so you can scan and send me a copy, many thanks0 -

Hi are you saying I need to go to tsb over this?
It was one loan which was car finance from a ford garage but the documents all say black horse on.I then put this into a personal loan 15 months later and addes some more which resuted in paying the ppi again. When I forst spoke to them the lady said the ppi would of been paid off within the first year of the payments.thats why I said I have paid £1357.Think one was £680 something and the other £660 something.Nothing has been said about the personal loan side one.But they are just saying they cant find the account for the other one which is odd as they must know they have only just send me a copy of it,Plus when I started this off they advised ,e to go to my bank to get the 9 didgit number for the standinging order which would get the information straight up which it did.Going to contact them later today any advise which good things to trow at them?Am going to send copy again of agreements to them recorded.0 -
Sunny, fortunately the law allows situations whereby contracts are not carefully read. You must now request the garage/finance company to provide you the name of the person who signed the agreement purporting to be your husband. You also require the name of the company who the PPI is with. You also believe that fraud has been committed and therefore, you require the full information in preparation for a police report
Mornin beamer..:) Thanks for above advice, yes, i have requested who signed it...they do not know....i have asked who provided the ppi and am awaiting a response, but i emailed that letter nearly a week ago. I will give them today and then email back. I will let you know how i get on, thanks buddy:D:D xx0 -
Morning folks...good luck to all winners today :T:T:T:T:Txx0

We're not sure is the answer I'm afraid...
If he took out the policy in the last couple of years then he was in a wheelchair after an operation to remove a tumour (sorry to lay in on so heavy, but that's the way it was), so if he was signing anything it would have been pretty obvious he had problems....
We have copies of letters he sent to his bank over the last ~4-5 years where he kept them informed about his illness, whether this information was relayed from LloydsTSB to L&E we don't know.0 -
OK, a sad tale but did the insurance company know that "he was first diagnosed with cancer 5+ years" This is important

Doubt if Lloyds would pass over such info due to the Data protection act.
You need to request a copy of the signed agreement from L&E0 -

I can remember calling them up to make a claim when I was off work after my operation,, they told me I was not covered so I cancelled it, so Im now trying to get through on the phone yay at last to which they have advised me to contact the FOS

Hi Di things are moving on this afternoon very quickly, it's interesting to see that the banks are still not playing the game, my friend i told you about on here a fortnight ago got a revised offer from LTSB bear in mind he was originally offered £12,292.00 they've upped it to £33,958.00 incredible and he reckons that he's only used the card normally.
Hi Cappo,
How come there is such a difference in the figures? clearly they were trying it on I know but can I ask what happened please?
I have had my offer but someone on here calculated what it should have been for me and their offer was nowhere near so I dont know whether to accept or not!
Many thanks x0
