I know this is off topic but had to share this one.

I am advertising for staff and was sent a CV which said

"I am working in the Sweeney and Todd pie shop, please contact Mr Ripper for a reference" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Look out "old Mackey's back in town

    Handy if you're running a contract-killing firm though... ;)

    Hi There

Can anyone help - I'm trying to make a claim against my Burton's storecard but cant find the right address through Santander. Does anybody know the right place to send this to ???

Also does the questionaire need a covering letter ? (has anybody got one)

Not sure what my chances are but fingers crossed :)

    Cheers , Bobby

    Hi there

I assume it would have been GE Money you would have to pursue, but Santander will deal with this complaint, the details are as below, post by recorded delivery and keep copies of what you send as well, good luck.:)
I would not worry about a covering letter, but that is up to you of course, there is no longer any template letters for this, as its best to always use your own words, but its not essential to send a cover letter, hope this helps x

    Complaints
    Santander UK PLC
    PO Box 1125
    BRADFORD

    Good afternoon

I have had a useful morning, most of it spent waiting on 08.. numbers, but I guess thats all part of the game....

    So far, spoken with:

Black Horse (asked for a FOS form to be completed), as did MBNA)

Halifax (Mortgage, loan & CC) gave me reference numbers for a number on items.
GE (gave me a reference number on one item)
Santander (Abbey National) I did an email to them

    Anyone know what happened to:

    Chartered Trust Plc
    First National Bank
    iGroup

    Best regards

    DIP

    ??

    Many thanks

    DIP

I couldn't see if anyone had replied to this but I-Group is now GE Money I put in a complaint today over the phone hope this helps

    Hi everyone,

I've got a few hours of work today so I'm busy trying to do some chasing up.

Would anyone have a contact tel no for M&S money PPI team? I've rung the CS team but they cant tell me anything except a letter was sent to me 15/09/11 (I've not received it!). They cant put me through to the PPI team or even ask them to ring me back...no e-mail address either!

    Thank you!x

Nothing on any of the paperwork I've got, I'm afraid - just the general number - 0845 900 0900.

Sorry I can't be of more help. xx

Dont rely on it!!! I have been waiting 32 working days now and still nothing received. Cannot find anyone who has actually been paid out yet by RBS/Nat West.:mad::mad::mad:

Bloody Hell in the words of Ron Weasley! There must be something that can be done. I am very seriously tempted to stop the remaing payments on my loan. Wonder how quick they would be chasing me down for payment. It's disheartening because at the end of the day it's our money. It's like some surreal hostage situation.

This may have to warrant daily emails to RBS CEO and banking team...

July 2010?! I know that some people have been through much more hassle than me and have been waiting for a lot longer. Did you get a response at all when you emailed or were you just fobbed off?

I had a situation with British Gas and overcharging where the CEO only replied when my MP wrote him a letter on my behalf.

Would be nice to see my money back before the year is out. Thanks so much though for reaching out though.

Hi Channers - my claim went in to RBS in August 2010 and am still waiting for the money. Acceptance letter posted in August this year which they say they did not receive until 5/9/11. They told me over the phone that it would be paid into my account on 12/10/11 - today. Guess what NO MONEY today. Don't hold your breath. I'm due over £22,000 but they certainly don't want to part with it.

That's the best idea, pester Stephen Hester the CEO, GET him to work hard for his bonus culture payments and even more for leaking tax payers money into his bonus. Hester is an ignorant man, always passes the buck to his lower staff who are pretty useless. You must remember that the RBS are no longer a stable bank having been downgraded 2 points by Moody's, will the UK taxpayer bail them out again ??
IT'S ON THE CARDS and if it does happen, please David Cameron get rid of Hester and replace him with a user friendly guy, even if he is an idiot as well
