Hi cat you can go back as far as banks hold records which varies between banks, Di and i on here have gone back to the mid 90's and i'm sure guys have been back earlier than this, if you have documentary proof you can go way back:)

P.S.... welcome to the forum, a friend of mine on a finishing note has now reclaimed misale from LTSB without paperwork, going back to 1988

    Hi there

Yes you can as Cappo says.;)
I have just actually been successful on 2 Lloyds loans ppi complaints, from the mid 90's.
If you make a reclaim-complaint make them aware you have only recently became aware of the mis selling which you believe applies to you.

Complete the reclaim questionnaire as on step 3 below, send to the ones who set up and sold you the account, head office or complaints, remember to keep copies as well, good luck.

    Hi All
Am a newbie on here but wanted to know if any others have had rejection letters from Lloyds tsb and then gone on to get a payout.

My claim has just been rejected even though i sent them a copy of the agreement where they had ticked against me working under 16 hours and my job been only temporary (which was true) They had also ticked yes to boxes that said i was under 18 and would be over 70 when the loan was due to be paid off???, so very untrue.

But all of these ticks led to me not been elegible for the insurance in the first place.

    Any feedback very welcome

    Hi and welcome

Have you asked them to reconsider?
Even on a final decision that been rejected they may reconsider, try giving more info if you can, tell them your not happy with being rejected with having a genuine complaint and asking they reconsider by 14 days, if you hear nothing or if they do not change the decision then complain to the FOS.
    Good luck.;)

Hi Cappo - (sorry can't link - new user)Yes, I know I had PPI, as I sent them a copy of the policy. I'm so glad I scanned everything into the PC and kept copies. How dare they...how VERY dare they! (That was me being indignant and angry! )
I read this forum every single day and realize we are all waiting for our ppi to be refunded which can be so depressing when the postman goes by and leaves nothing but this morning when I read the forum and read your contribution, although its not right that you are getting the runaround the way you worded your quote made me laugh out loud , I read it out to the hubby and he laughed - thats the spirit we need to keep a sense of humour not easy but it so helps. I am tired of saying to my hubby when my ppi arrives we shall go out for the most fantastic meal but as Cappo always says we need patience and I think a sense of humour so thanks for brightening my morning.:j
  • Hi Guys,
