hiya folks:)
quick update
I received my response from FP on the 12th march which I was quite shocked as i only sent it about 2 days before so they replied sharp lol
the letter is saying the usual they sorry I am unhappy and are looking into my concerns, and in my letter I sent them i gave the 14 days to respond to me or I am going to the ombudsman, in this letter it says they will be in touch asap or no later than the 7th of April!!
also i asked for all copies of the telephone calls and they said they happy to send these telephone calls from the point of sale on a cd but they first need to know if i want the disc encrypted and if i do they need to know what my public pass key is so they can forward it on to their IT department??? well i dunno what my pass key is lol
what do you think has FP sent anyone else all their telephone calls on cd or is it just stalling tactics again?
thanks in advance.xx0 -

Hiya hun
And wow they were quick lol.
In regards of the recordings, I assumed it would just be like a normal CD, that is what I received from the loan company of whom I was complaining about.
Just tell them you will be happy just for a standard CD, this should be fine.
If they go on about the other way, just tell them you do not have a pass key, unless they provide these to you, check with them hun, but a simple CD should be fine.
Yes maybe it is a stalling method, I don't know, yet I suppose they do need a little time to prepare for the recordings - but not that much time lol.....:D.
Post up when you hear hunni, good luck.;)

For those who have been told that their claim is time barred or the broker or lender was not regulated by the FSA ir GISC at the time. Please ignore this stance. It is a total red herring. You may not be able to make a claim through the traditional FOS route but you can still definitely expect to successfully claim.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
However, I have since seen the light.0 -

How - I am currently doing battle with M & S Money over their credit card PPI & have been blocked at every turn.
Any advice please.0 -

Well I sent my 1st stage letter about 3 weeks ago and got the standard fob off letter Sat morning. They stated that they sold me the PPI during a telephone conversation in Aug 2008?!! My acc was opened in Aug 2002!....I think they have their years mixed up lol! I rang them to say I couldn't remember getting a call from them last year with regards to PPI and they said....'oh no we don't cold call our customers, you must have called us'.....I don't think so!!!!!!! I also asked how long I'd been paying PPI and they couldn't tell me. SO I dug out a couple of statements from 2007 just to make sure I had been paying it.....and I have!
I'm posting the SAR today recorded delivery. Was going to send the 2nd stage letter too but do you think I should wait for the SAR??
Thanks v much xxPAYDBX17 #29 £760.19/10000 :j0 -

Hiya hun
A fob off then?
An SAR can be useful to help your case, so with a bit of luck something within the SAR will help support your case.
And hopefully there will be a copy of the recordings of any telephone calls made, if not there should be transcripts of dates and times of calls, with maybe what the conversation entailed.
You can still write back to them now, have they given you a certain time to get back to them for them with more information in order for them to reconsider your complaint?
Or if its not long before your expecting your SAR to arrive, see what comes back first, but try to write back to them with a 2nd stage letter if they have given you a timescale for this.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
