:j:jWell done, just don't spend it all at once. May I ask for more details about your loan -when they were taken and for how much, and if they were used to refinance each other? I have 5 rbs loan ppi complaints in also, just waiting to hear final decision in next few weeks.:D
    hi Smitchy
I had 6 loans which were all taken out to refinance other loans and they were all taken out over the last 15 years.
i just sent the questionaire to RBS and then recieved a reply to say they were investigating which would take up to 16 weeks.
now im just waiting for them to pay up so good luck

    Hi All,
I posted a little while ago to say that thanks to the information on this site and forum, I started my "PPI Complaint" journey by sending off a covering letter and 5 questionnaires to Barclays (2 x CC and 3 x Loans). I'm just reporting that I have had my acknowledgement letter back with a promise to deal with my complaints by 12th December, so I'm in the system!

Incidentally, the letter refers to an enclosed leaflet about Barclays' complaints process, which was not in the envelope! Barclays "effective" customer communications systems demonstrated right there! It would have been useful for contact numbers/emails too, so I'm going to request it.

Thanks again for all of the information and advice.

Good luck to everyone in the process and congratulations to those who have been successful in being refunded

I shall now patiently await my response, but with fervent hope
    KG

Wishing you luck on your reclaiming, please keep us posted, cheers.;)
